Hotel opinion
I will start my opinion about the hotel with the positives.
After all, there are definitely fewer of them compared to the number of negatives.
I spent 10 nights in the hotel.
+
The hotel is in a good location.
About 200 m from the hotel there is a large free parking lot (near the pitch), where you can leave your car without any problems. The parking lot is lit at night - it seems safe. The hotel tries to force a payment for parking the car in their own (internal parking lot) in the amount of €30/24h. The hotel does not have access to the beach, it has an outdoor swimming pool where animations take place. Loro park is 10 minutes from the hotel. There is a small shop inside the hotel where you can do grocery shopping or buy souvenirs.
The appearance of the entire hotel suggests that its glory and cleanliness are long behind it. A lot of rust, stains on the seats and old dirt.
Room
There are numerous stains on the carpet in the room. The beds were terribly uncomfortable - I chose the room without an ocean view, knowing that I wanted silence. I was forced to check in to a room overlooking the ocean, which was cold and the wind didn't really let me sleep. The air conditioning stank and its sound was like an old tractor starting up. Additionally, the windows were not airtight. The furniture in the room was dirty - stained. The fridge was making noise at night.
Bathroom
In many places in the bathroom it was obvious that the bathtub was many years old. She was dirty. Ugly furniture covered with mold/green coating. There was silicone everywhere and one day I found two bugs crawling around the trash can and sink. Sanitary conditions were terrible.
Breakfast
Everyday the same. One day I got food poisoning from breakfast and vomited all day long. Probably not fresh eggs. From my bed I called the front desk for help. What I heard surprised me - LACK OF RESPECT AND UNDERSTANDING. The employee informed me that she would not bring me a bottle of water or help me because it was my problem that I was barely alive and had no strength to get out of bed. Drama!
Interestingly, on the day of departure I saw two more people vomiting in the lobby area.
I wanted to skip breakfast but was told no.
The room was cleaned every day, i.e. towels were changed and garbage was taken away. So much.
Only German TV programs on the TV.
The breakfast staff loves customers who tip extra in euros. They treated me like an enemy. I didn't do anything to them.
The hotel ruined my trip - it took me 3 days to recover from the poisoning. It had a huge impact on my psyche. I haven't eaten anything there.

I came on holiday as an employee of another Precise in Germany and I will definitely mention two employees at the beginning, Alfonso from the reception who arranged the car for me because unfortunately all the rental offices were booked and he arranged it within 15 minutes and the car was waiting downstairs. And the other one is our funny Elvira from bar, what energy this woman has, it's hard to describe, she provided us with an evening that we will remember for a long time, the rest of the employees are a plus, great energy flows from the people, but you Spanish have this flow. And of course thanks for nice room 😊

Nice place although looks a bit tired . Stuck in the 80s maybe . Staff lovely but there are serious renovations going on closing off the main pool area and bar .We were not told before we arrived.

The view is very nice from the balcony. But that is the only good thing I can comment during our stay here…
1. It is either Spanish or German. My friend was trying to get a soft drink during a buffet dinner and couldn’t find anyone speaks fluent English. And even the welcome card in the room is written in German.
2. Wifi and internet connection was terribly bad. Wifi cannot load anything (like casually streaming on YouTube), and there is no signal if you want to use mobile data. I had to go to balcony every time when I needed to load sth, even for a satellite Google map! And each wifi + password can only register two electronic devices which makes it super inconvenient.
3. Too crowded for breakfast. Food variety is not as good as another 4-star we stayed at South. But that’s not a big problem. There were way too many people for waiters to catch up the service speed. For our 3 breakfast here, out of 2, I had to walk all around to find coffee cups on my own, and had to go to ask for cutlery otherwise we won’t get it.
4. Outdated furniture. I am fine with old furniture as long as it is clean. But the shower faucet was loose, and it doesn’t stand. It almost hit me when I turned off the water as it immediately dropped. Also there is no socket next to the bed.
5. No (free) parking owned by the hotel.

We stayed at the Precise Resort Hotel for one week. Our room was on the corner of the hotel, so had a great view of the ocean, rockface and gardens. There is a choice of swimming pools, including a very relaxed, quiet pool, located in the gardens. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus to Puerto de la Cruz town, although we preferred to walk in to town, which took about 25 mins. We found there was a good variety of food, for both breakfast and evening meals. The highlight of our holiday was the staff, all were very pleasant and friendly and you could not help but relax in their company. A big mention must go to Kyle, the hotel entertainer. My wife celebrated her birthday during our stay, what a memorable night (games night) we celebrated the night playing the games with Polish, German, French and Spanish couples. Thankyou Precise Resort. Thankyou Kyle.
