Super spacious hotel; beautifully kept gardens and golf course. Lovely beach area and clear calm sea (bring a face mask!). Fabulous spa where the 9am (free) classes were excellent. Breakfast buffet was great and you can ask for freshly made eggs and special coffees. Half board dinner was slightly more hit and miss, especially the main courses, but always attentive staff. Prices are 5* too but the setting and service are wonderful so don’t think about it too much. We did the boat trip to Spinalonga/blue lagoon; the Greek night and the Fish night. The only one we wouldn’t repeat was the Fish night as the service was comparatively slow, the main and dessert choices were limited and the music needed more variety. Our room was fantastic - good space, nice touches and very functional - the rooms have been recently renovated. The resort manager set the example for the staff - engaging, service orientated and mucked in.
All in all a 5* experience and one we plan to repeat.

Really lovely hotel that offers everything. The rooms are lovely and spacious and we had our own private plunge pool outside. The grounds were stunning and the beach was beautiful.
For me, what made this hotel so lovely were the amazing staff. We were made to feel so welcome, the staff got to know us personally and they just could not do enough fr you. I felt like I was being welcomed as part of a family. I will definitely go back.
Highly recommend!

Absolutely exquisite resort. Rooms are large and spacious as well as luxurious. Staff are friendly and helpful when needed and stay in the background when they aren't. Only minor complaint would be the distance from the main town where all the shopping and tours are located. A short taxi ride gets you there though unless you rent a vehicle. Restaurants are a bit pricey on the resort but in town they are very reasonable with a wide variety of tastes.

I stayed at Porto Elounda Golf Resort in June and was generally satisfied with the experience. Starting with the positives — the location is excellent: a quiet, picturesque area with beautiful views of the bay, yet still close to Elounda and Agios Nikolaos. The grounds are well-maintained, spacious, and full of greenery — it’s a pleasure to walk around.
The room was large and well laid out — you don’t feel cramped at all. Everything was clean, the furniture was in good condition, and the balcony offered a fantastic sea view.
As for the downsides — the dinners were a bit disappointing. While the variety was decent, the quality of the food could have been better. The octopus was so tough it was almost impossible to chew, and the fish tasted like it had been frozen — dry and flavorless.
Overall, I had a good stay. I might come back, but would probably go for a bed-and-breakfast option only.

We had a great stay in hotel porto elounda golf ...! We enjoyed our stays very much!!
We were in the new building!!
The rooms were big quited and very comfortable,
the water pressure in the overhead shower was weaker than expected.
the hotel privet beach was clean, with a nice bar offering food.
the staff was very friendly!
the privet pool had very cold water colder then the sea, with salty seawater,
the restaurants prices were high with a bit of a pretentious vibe. Breakfast was fantastic!
and overall, it was a relaxing experience with room for a few improvements.
