Understated luxury
We booked a last minute trip to the Hoposa Pollentia hotel and am delighted we did so.
The location is perfect - 10 mins walk to the main resort area, over the road to the beach.
The staff are lovely - friendly and welcoming. They are an asset to the hotel.
The breakfast buffet is excellent - big choice of fresh food.
Lunch was equally good.
We hope to return at some point.

Hotel is nicely presented, staff are great. Rooms are pretty small for the price, roof top area not great (tiny pool, lots of paving slabs loose).
Had to move room as the adjacent balcony looked directly into the bedroom!
Air con just about works, not sure how good this would be in 35 degree heat.
You do get some noise from the nearby all inclusive hotel, appreciate this isn't their fault but good to know for others.

Charming adults-only hotel with stunning ocean views and a breathtaking mountainous backdrop. It is perfectly located near cute restaurants and bars while maintaining its quiet little haven. Tastefully decorated without being pretentious.
Breakfast and evening live performances were a lovely added touch.
We were also welcomed with a bottle of champagne and a sweet note for our anniversary—such a thoughtful gesture.
All wonderful things but above all, what truly makes this place so special is the amazing staff running it. Caitlin, Mercé, Isaac and Ariel were a breath of fresh air. They exuded warmth, generosity and genuine kindness. So welcoming, helpful, and always ready with great tips and good chats.
The hotel is lucky to have such a spectacular team! Will return in a heartbeat.

2nd visit to this adult only hotel, great hotel, friendly staff and great location 5min walk to the port, just away enough from all the bars and noise..but close enough to stroll into when needed. Beautiful beach 20yrds across the road..live music 3x a week in the front courtyard with a lovely bars serving drinks/complimentary nuts..
Perfect place for a getaway!

For the price we paid (~€400 per night), we expected a significantly better experience. The way the hotel is prestented in photos does not reflect the reality. The only aspect that met expectations was the lobby, which is nicely designed.
The in-room amenities, particularly the cosmetics, are far below the standard expected at a hotel in this category — you’d likely find better in a hostel. Breakfast was quite average, with a very limited selection for vegetarians and vegans.
We were also unaware that this hotel is offered as part of holiday packages by some travel agencies, which may impact the overall atmosphere and service level.
Finally, attention to detail was lacking. For example, guests should be able to enjoy breakfast in peace — not while an employee is using a leaf blower nearby.
