This hotel is conveniently located near the airport, just a 10-minute drive away. They offer free parking in their own lot, but it’s first-come, first-served.
The breakfast buffet is surprisingly large and offers a variety of hot and cold dishes. We had a superior double room, which was spacious and seemed to have been recently renovated. The bathroom was clean and modern, but unfortunately, it lacked air conditioning.
The hotel’s location is great, as there are many restaurants within walking distance. We didn’t use the outdoor pool and relaxing area, but it looked inviting.
Overall, we found the hotel to be a good value for money and had no complaints. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning in our room.

If you are looking for budget-friendly accommodation, this hotel is a good option. The location is right on the beach, and if your room faces the ocean you’ll enjoy some pretty spectacular views. Mine was on the other side, so nothing special there - but I wasn’t staying for the views.
The hotel has been renovated, which is lovely. I enjoyed the breakfast, good variety and fresh food. There’s also a parking lot, and it doesn’t cost extra.
It’s important to note that there is no AC anywhere in the hotel. In the room there’s a ceiling fan, which did help at night when it was very hot.
One thing to mention: when I came back to the hotel at night, the street next to it was really dark. Since I was traveling alone, it wasn’t the most comfortable moment.
Overall, for the price I paid, I got exactly what I was looking for, so I would recommend it.

The hotel is in a great location for anyone wanting access to the beach to windsurf / kite. The rooms themselves are fine and the staff in general were polite but there some things that could be improved.
- Even though there are security safes in each room, you have to pay an extra daily fee to use it. A charge I have never had in any other hotel.
- A self service buffet breakfast is available 7 to 10am, however after 9.20am the supply of everything from cups, breads and fruit can be limited.
- The hotel has a nice pool with sun beds and umbrellas set around it, however these are pretty much reserved by towels/bags of certain hotel guests who lay their towels at breakfast and then disappear, not returning until mid afternoon after their windsurf/kite sessions.
- The hotel does not offer any yoga or massage services which are often available in a hotel catering for people pursuing sports during their stay.

We’ve stayed in El Médano many times, usually booking apartments, but this time we wanted the security of a hotel for the busy PWA competition period. We booked directly through the hotel’s website for the best price, and the process was quick and straightforward — check-in couldn’t have been easier!
The lady on reception was so friendly and welcoming — she really made a brilliant first impression. Our room was lovely and spotlessly maintained by the housekeeping team.
The pool area was peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a quiet break after the day’s activities. Breakfast was excellent — long serving hours, well-stocked, and fresh right until the very end.
My husband loved the discounted windsurf hire; the equipment was top quality, in great condition, and reasonably priced.
The hotel’s location is ideal — right on the beach and only a few minutes’ walk along the promenade to cafés, restaurants, and shops.
We absolutely loved our stay and are already planning our next visits!

Hotel directly at the beach. Perfect if you want to surf. However it is also very windy. Breakfast is good. Rooms are clean and modern. However there is no AC...it was bearable though because of the cool wind from outside
