Spent a week here. On arrival only 1 lift working and on leaving still only one loft working, the room had 4 towels and a bath mat after first "clean" we were given 2 towels for 4 of us no mat had to go to receptionto ask for more towels and was told they would remind cleaners there are 4 in the room, bed was made but not changed, room was brushed through and bin emptied. Room was "cleaned" again 2 days later and guess what 4 towels taken but only 2 left back to reception again and was told I could have 2 more as I had asked I said I was told that this wouldn't happen again reception staff didn't care they handed towels over and carried on speaking to what looked like a friend. Kitchen area fridge was wobbly and very basic, no chopping board.
Air conditioning was temperamental had staff come and show us how to use and it blew out hot air whenever it decided to come on which was not ideal.
Shows were good for 5 year old although started later that advertised on the show boards. Kids club was good my 5 year old said he had fun. Drinks were expensive as were icecreams. There is some mini football goals by the pool where kids can play but only with the soft ball from reception but thos rule was only enforced by 1 member of staff and if she wasn't working the bigger kids played with whatever ball they wanted and the smaller kids didn't get a look in, would recommend removing this area as there is a football area in kids club and would mean people walking to the lift wouldn't get hit.

Just returned from this hotel and I can honestly say it’s the worst place I’ve ever been to in my entire life.
Staff are awfully rude they do not want to help you i was screamed at in front of my kids for picking up two plates of chips that id paid for because they mistakenly thought it wasn’t me who paid for them! Rooms are not cleaned efficiently bed looked like it had been made by a 5 year old. And my other friends never got hers cleaned the full time she was there! The hotel if I’m honest is dangerous I seen 3 children have accidents round the pool there were tiles missing, the life guards didn’t even have a full first aid kit to tend to it- not even a wipe for the child’s blood. Cockroaches in my room when I have small children also countless things to add the place in my opinion needs shut down the staff are visibly miserable and hate the hotel customers one growled at my sister for taking a pizza back to be cooked properly. Even the surrounding area a lot of the people just don’t want your custom and hate tourists honestly holiday from hell. And I was only there 3 days if I was there any longer I would have been devastated. I wouldn’t half mind about the state of the hotel if the staff were half pleasant but they were awful. Just returned from a weeks stay at Pirate Village with our 3.5 year old and newborn. We were all inclusive, and the food was fresh, varied and really tasty - we enjoyed every meal. Rooms were lovely and spacious and clean. They do have a rota displayed where some of the hotel floors have 'days off' cleaning and there were two days our rooms were not cleaned but the reception staff were more than happy to change towels for us. Staff friendly hard working and dedicated. Kids club was really welcoming, but our 3 year old was a bit too young to want to leave us. Entertainment was a little strange!! But all the kids seem to love it. Lastly, the location (Santa Ponsa) is a little quiet, but it was the winter months. Overall great stay, would reccommend!

We are just back from a week at the pirate village - family of 5.
The rooms are not clean, and weren’t cleaned the whole time we stayed. We had to take our towels to reception to request clean ones as the cleaners only seemed to make the beds. There was rubbish in the bin when we arrived from the previous people staying in our room, there wasn’t enough dishes or glasses for the 5 of us. We had to request sheets and blankets on 2 occasions due to not being given enough. Bathroom had mould on the walls the towels were stained yellow and bed sheets had holes in them.
The food is ok repetitive and often the same dishes for lunch and dinner but food was cold if you aren’t there for the buffet opening you weren’t getting warm food. All inclusive- was selective and a lot of things had to be paid for - ice cream cocktails popcorn and there was a small snack menu you could choose from but a large menu of snacks available if you were willing to pay.
The pools were fantastic but not clean very gritty at the bottom and the grids round the pool black.
Entertainment was great during the day! Pirate attack and mermaid lessons were amazing. The shows in the evening were absolute nonsense, it was the same show each night but changing the main character focus. My children started to request not staying for the entertainment which is a shame.
Staff were pretty rude, they looked fed up most of the time and if you needed help with anything there was no chance of getting it from a member of staff.
It is a short walk to the beach and there is a few decent restaurants near by if you decide to eat out.
We have previously visited many other all inclusive resorts and this was by far the worst, in service and cleanliness.

All the rooms need a big once over with sealant in the all inclusive rooms and the basic fixings of everything in the self catering chalets. But looking past that. Oh my word the entertainment is amazing for kids, if that's what your looking for it absolutely brilliant. Location to beach is less than 5 minutes walk and transfer time is 30 mins. Now we know what the room and food is like we can adapt for next time when our son is older to go again. Would say it if for 5-10 year olds
