Was very apprehensive at first after I booked, due to all the negatives reviews. Even when we arrived people were checking out early. Well we have had a very lovely experience, very friendly staff, room very spacious and clean. The rooms could do with abit of a revamp, but apart from that we have no complaints. The pool is fantastic very clean and the guard is making sure everyone is kept safe. Very local to everything, good bars and restaurants. For a first time in santa ponsa we were not disappointed, and would definitely return back to stay at the Deya.

ANTS EVERYWHERE and €200 cash deposit up front. This isn’t the first Pierre and Vacancies hotel I’ve stayed in but it’s the last, the room and hotel had ants everywhere. In our room, bathroom, in the bed, on different floors, the pool, the reception area had them crawling around. The drinks at the pool were 100% diluted and we had a cockroach stuck in the stoves extractor fan. He was fried to a crisp and shattered when we tried to remove him. The AC hardly worked in the sitting room, with no way to control it and weren’t given a tv remote to watch something. The fan for the AC is on the balcony pumps extremely hot air out onto the balcony which makes it hard to sit and enjoy the area without taking the keycard out. The elevators felt like a death trap every time we got in with the noises coming from it. The only good thing was the decent shop across the road but even then when you left/entered the lobby of the hotel you’re hit with a smell of sewage.

It’s a room dated around late 90s location is good and pool is surprisingly better than the apartment it isn’t luxury more for teenagers / 18-30 type accommodation…Friday and Saturdays expect no sleep

The hotel is a perfect, the rooms are super comfortable, everything is very clean and the staff is incredibly friendly. I have to give special praise to Abel! He was always smiling, ready to help in a second and really tries to make everyone feel at home. People like that really make a difference on your vacation. Recommended to everyone who is looking for a place to let go and enjoy without worries!
