Stayed for a week.
Our room was comfortable and spacious. It was at the back of the hotel, so had a poor view. The room servicing was mixed, frequently forgetting to replace items such as towels, coffee, water etc.
The food in the restaurant was adequate, nothing special. As with most buffet restaurants, the food is overcooked and lacks flavour.
The pool area is vast, plenty of sunbeds. It looks special at night when it's lit up.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
There's a great beach outside the hotel, popular with surfers. Also, no shortage of camel rides on offer.
The hotel is a good 2 miles from the local town and 30 mins from the city of Agadir.
Overall, it's reasonable but not special.

Overall, we were extremely pleased with our stay from start to finish.
The rooms, bars, and restaurants were all very clean. The main buffet restaurant offered great food, and the dessert station was lovely. We also really enjoyed the paninis from the poolside food court. Most evenings we spent time at the bar with holiday friends and watching sports on the TVs — having Absolut Vodka available was a bonus. We also attended the nightly entertainment, and the shows were different each evening, which we appreciated.
Constructive feedback:
• The sofas can get quite dirty and would benefit from more frequent cleaning.
• Additional staff at the bars, restaurants, and pools would help improve service during busy times.
Location:
Having the beach right on the doorstep was fantastic. We spent a day surfing and loved going down each morning to see the puppies and their mum.
Staff & Animation Team:
The animation team and the bar/restaurant staff deserve a special mention. They were consistently friendly, polite, and genuinely wonderful people. We formed real friendships with them, and they truly made our holiday memorable. A special shout-out to Jamal — we love you, Jamal! 💕

Fantastic, clean, perfect hotel. Loved everything about it. The food is really good, the staff work hard including the animation team, the surroundings are clean and well maintained. Rooms are large and comfortable with free mini bar (robes would be a small improvement). Shower pressure is so strong! The beach is beautiful. This hotel is probably one of the best we've stayed in. We would definitely come back

Very impressive surroundings, staff are lovely and probably the best breakfast spread I have seen. So many places to relax and a wide variety of chairs, loungers and couches. The 24 hour bakery is lovely, they take real care over your drinks. It would be nice to have savoury snacks available in the bars.
Rooms are nice inside but if you don’t get a pool view then the views are terrible- facing a wall or a road. We tried to change ours and got slightly better ones as they were one floor up but view was into the neighbouring trailer park.
My husband asked if something nice could be done when we went to the Moroccan restaurant as it was our anniversary. Nothing happened so he spoke to reception who took his details but nothing came of it.
Our flight wasn’t till very late and there were no rooms available - we had to use the showers at the beach. A hotel of this standard should have a shower room, although they do have a changing room.
The amount of single use plastic is terrifying - small shower bottles, straws, and thousand of small water bottles. A new hotel should have an eco policy in place. I would not choose Pickalbatros again just for this reason.

We had a 10night stay at this hotel..9/11 - 19/11
Our 1st visit to Morocco and our 1st visit to Pickalbatros. A exception experience, check in good. We had an early flight so had to wait on room but had full access to the AInc.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Rooms clean and tidy.
Food choices great. Bar staff on the ball.
We will certainly return.
