The place is truly wonderful, so beautiful that you feel like you are in a dream. I visited it during Christmas time, and the decorations were splendid. The resort has everything you could think of: rooms with an amazing view, hot water pools of different sizes, a gym, lots of restaurants with delicious food, and vehicles you can get in to move around. My time there was amazing, and I can't imagine any other place I'd rather stay in Hurghada. I only had trouble with the Wi-Fi connection, which didn't work properly in buildings 7 or 8, but it was very good in the buildings closer to the reception. In general, it was a wonderful experience, and the staff was very kind. I would definitely recommend it.

The hotel was incredible! Magnificent, spacious, the room was very beautiful and huge. Lots of choice and space for swimming pools, restaurants, snacks... and the fact that you could still eat until midnight when you came back from a late excursion was very much appreciated.
The welcome and the staff were also perfect: always welcoming, smiling and friendly. Having a spa and a gym club were a big advantage!
The only thing I regret is not having had a room with a full sea view (the building in front blocked it). But I hope that on my next stay, I will have a better room :)
And the wifi was not very good. This is something that coud be improved.
Otherwise, i loved my stay there and recommend it at 100%!

We had a wonderful stay at Albatros Citadel and spent some truly special moments there as a family with my wife and our 10-month-old baby. Overall, it was a very positive experience.
What really stood out the most was the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. Even though their English was sometimes limited, communication was never an issue and everyone made a genuine effort to understand us. They were exceptionally caring toward our baby, which made a big difference for us as young parents. This level of warmth and attention is something we truly appreciated.
The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained. The entire property feels taken care of, and the setting is simply beautiful. For a light and funny note: many people thought I was Egyptian, which led to some very amusing moments during our stay.
The restaurant teams were also very professional and attentive. We ate very well throughout our stay and really enjoyed the variety and quality of the food.
There are only a few points that could be improved. Some of the people promoting additional activities or taking commissions can be a bit pushy. For example, the person in charge of reservations for the fish restaurant was quite insistent about going through him for commission. We eventually went to the restaurant anyway, but not because of that interaction. A simple sign or a less intrusive approach would make the experience more pleasant.
It was also a bit disappointing that the jacuzzis were not well heated. They felt rather cold, which is unfortunate for something meant to be relaxing.
Another small point: the lady in charge of the kids’ club was very kind, but she only spoke Russian. While I understand that the hotel may cater to many Russian guests, having at least one English-speaking staff member for the kids’ area would be a real plus.
Finally, regarding the small shops on the side of the hotel, the experience was mixed. The pharmacy staff were extremely friendly and helpful, while the other shops felt more average in terms of hospitality. That said, I understand these shops may not be directly managed by the hotel.
Despite these minor points, our stay was excellent. The location is stunning, the hotel is clean and well run, and most importantly, the staff are genuinely caring and welcoming. We left with great memories and would gladly recommend Albatros Citadel, especially for families.

A very beautiful resort, exactly as shown in the photos and description. The location is very quiet, perfect for relaxing. The staff are incredibly attentive, a big thumbs up to lifeguard Mostafa Fadl who took excellent care of us at the pool and was always very helpful 👍. The only downside was that we wanted to pay for a late checkout because checkout is at 12 pm and our flight is at 11 pm, but it was impossible as the hotel was fully booked.
P.S. There's no prayer room for Muslim guests.

Had a wonderful time in block 8 in a ground floor sea view room. It is a large resort but you feel more that you are in a village thanks to the style of an ancient citadel with appropriate material selection and spotless garden and reef beaches. Staff is exceptional and full of attention. Food offer is outstanding with 5 theme restaurants offering show cooking. Although not adult only, it is so well organized that you can find plenty of places to relax. We particularly liked beach 3 for it's location and great staff. Special thanks to Ahmed Shokry for his care in the Asian restaurant and on beach 3. If we return, we will select another room in blocks closer to everything. Our room in block 8 was incredibly spacious and comfortable for 4 people but we were only 2 and the situation on ground floor makes the sea view possible only standing up.
