Great amenities, amazing staff, delicious food!!
-- All around a great experience for me and my daughter while we spent Easter in Madeira. The location is perfect -- close enough to the downtown core (10 min by car), close to nearby villages that we knew we'd be visiting, and a great central base to tour all corners of the Island. Complimentary parking, which was great too! Loved that the hotel is down at ocean level -- we walked out of the resort and onto the water. Lots of little beach bars and restaurants nearby -- not that we needed it as the resort is all-inclusive with food and drinks flowing all day and into the night. Great stair access up the mountain just 200 metres from the hotel, so you can easily get to the main street if you don't have a car -- there are many more shops, restaurants, and other amenities. The Pestana staff are especially great -- always happy, kind, and mindful of your experience with them -- they make you feel special and we felt pampered the whole time; we will be back for sure with the rest of the family!

The service is truly what makes the whole stay. From the moment you walk in the hotel even at busy times, they make you feel like you’re the most important person!
I arrived very early and without requesting they gave me breakfast and made sure I was comfortable right from the beginning!
It truly felt like the employees loved working there and genuinely cared for their guests.

Not the fanciest resort I've ever been to but the location is amazing only feet from the ocean. Room was very clean and large. Food was good and service was good as well. Pool are was nice and they had a pool side bar. Went for a special occasion and they left us a champagne room drop. This is not a all night party resort with clubs. The bar shut down at 11PM I think but you could take bottles of beer or whatever you wanted back to your room. Lots of really nice walks near by. Don't need much more than that to relax. Would highly recommend.

Location is great and the staff really welcoming.
Drinks really basic and food the same all the time, stay there for 5 days, same breakfast, same dinner, very basic. I paid an all inclusive so was not worthy the price.
The pool and views are nice.
