This is an older hotel but the room was very spacious and had a good fitted kitchen. Plenty of choice for breakfast and good snack bar at downstairs pool. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus to the front of the resort which is very useful as it's a very steep walk down.

Excellent service from all staff. Very friendly, hard working and helpful. Rooms have been updated, but bathrooms , kitchen areas and corridors in need of update/redecoration. Some distance from sea front and up a steep hill. But there is a free bus to town. Food is good and varied. Buffet self service, but staff always on hand to help.

Start was not too good. Upon arriving we heard that our booking was not in the system and that we might have been scammed. After we requested the reservation website to call the hotel this was resolved. This resulted in some further issues with the included dinner, but the staff were all very nice, sorry, and ensured us that it will be resolved. Regarding some reviews about staff not being nice or annoyed, we have only encountered nice and helpful staff. It might be the language barrier (or the hotel stayer itself 😉) that is the problem. Probably because there were no other rooms available due to the booking issue, we got a room with a spacious balcony and private sunbeds. I highly recommend booking the renovated rooms, as the others are quite outdated. Beds are definitely hard but we don't mind that. The room inside was honestly better than we expected, keeping in mind that this was one of the cheapest available options with a good rating in all of Tenerife. Breakfast and dinner are good, even as a picky eater there was always something to eat. Other reviews mentioned that all food is cold, but I did not share the same experience. You can also not expect freshly prepared food from a buffet. The outside area is nice, if you want to just take a walk you can do that in the big garden. Walking to the center of Puerto de la Cruz is honestly not recommended, on Google Maps everything looks pretty flat, but the entire city is located on a mountain side. One should really rent a car, use a taxi or use the shuttle service. All in all we really enjoyed our stay, even though the start was not the best.

Like the name says it is a hotel in a park. There are beautiful surroundings at the pools and bar. The entrance is like something Soviet style monumental style, but once you are inside it is nice. The hotel is old but well maintained. We were positively surprised by the Kitchen wich is the first one I have seen with a proper stove, you can cook and bake like at home.

Stayed for 7 nights. Breakfast was very good. A lot of choice. Staff at reception were very helpful. Rooms was always clean and in good order. Housekeeping was done everyday. Location was generally quiet. Expect a lot of German tourists on the North side of Tenerife. If you want a quiet holiday then this hotel is perfect. Not suitable for people with health or walking problems as there is a steep hill that leads to the hotel, and in general the area has many uphills and downhills, so if you are fit and healthy then this should not be a problem. We decided to try the dinner for one night and was disappointing really bland, overcooked which was a surprise given that the breakfast was better. Local bars and restaurants are ok but you have to search for them.
