we spent here 12 days and were satisfied. sure it's not a 4-star hotel, basic and not new, but for the money it was a good option. the rooms were clean, the sheets and towels are changed once in a week. the reception is open very rare, but if you call them on phone, they are helpful. I just don't recommend the washing machine, clothes didn't get clean.
The village is dirty and doesn't look good at all, so better to have a car and explore other beaches. If you don't rent a car, it's not an ideal place to stay, we also just came to the apartment to sleep.. But the island has so much to offer, that you shouldn't stay in one place anyway..

We been here over 5 days on holiday and there are pro and cons.
Pro:
- kind staff and management, helpfully and respectful, if you need anything they always look to help - just be advised that this is not a Hotel is a flats park so it may be that they are not always there but they are available on phone.
-towel every 2 days and all waste collected.
- General area and pool was clean.
-parking available around the complex
Cons:
- No fan or AC.
-Little bit noisy but that depends of other guests I suppose.
-Cockroach and ants in toiles and kitchen.
- The complex is quite close to sea so is very windy, expect windows to whistle quite loudly.

I’m giving 5star rating cause it was totally value for money.
We arrived on the afternoon and the main fort was closed so be sure that you ll be able to call them via phone or WhatsApp to open the locker on the side to get your key.
The room was clean and comfortable.
There was also a kitchen , well-equipped.
The place is very close to Playa Montaña Amarilla which is very cute and instagramable.
I read the comment about the difficulty to find a park spot , but for us was very very easily almost outside the room (April month ).

The reception unmanned. Room basic seemed clean ifound mine a little noisy ay night. but having no basic essentials of soap or washing up liquid. No micro wave no uk tv. A dirty balcony with no view. 1 large double mirrowed warddobe. Lifts dont work and no poolside bar with swimming pool gate locked with no access key. No aircon or fan. Closse to a rocky beach and close to bus stop. Close to mni super market. Most bars locally closed with no entertainment. Bars that are open appear to be supporting belgium tourist. If you book direct with host reception then can be as low as 250 euro a week or 800 euro a month 30% less than with a booking site.

Would give 0 stars if i could. The hotel cancelled our reservation one week before the trip without any explanations. We have tried to contact them numerous times, but still no answer or reason for the cancellation. Thanks to them, we now have to pay a lot of extra for an accommodation. Save yourself some money and don't book a room here. Ridiculous behavior.
