Very disappointed to begin it has not had a refurbishment and is not finished either as I was told in emails before confirming the booking (I booked direct). The only areas decorated are those shown in the pictures, the rest of the hotel is very very run down. It is not able to cater for English families or kids. Most of the kids programme that’s on the board is non existent and one of the animation team does not speak or engage with the English speaking kids. Rooms decorated but very small and all 4 people on single camp beds (not what is shown in the pictures). Food was basically the same each day but lots to choose from and lots of fresh salad. The pool bar and entertainment stage was a work in progress, so I hike into the hotel every time you want a drink by the pool, but apparently when it does open main bar will close so always only 1 bar open at a time There are no towels provided for the loungers and they are very uncomfortable plastic slotted loungers (I would imagine they are supposed to have a sponge layer over) with no tables or umbrellas provided. The Loungers are stacked and you’re supposed to lift your own off these are never hosed down and are dirty from last season. We had a couple of days at the beginning of the holiday with bad rain so looked for the tv and games room to be told they aren’t in use when we found they are being filled office workers for the hotel which made for a couple of tough days. The bar staff were lovely but at times under a lot of pressure because generally only 1 staff at a time. The pool looks unwelcoming with a fence around it, they opened part of it after I asked was it open as no one had used it, it ranges from 110-165cm and does not have a lifeguard The hotel is a perfect location to the beach, shops, train and bus services. Evening entertainment is bingo every night I did push my areas of concern and met with the manager Oliver who accepted my issues and is trying to make changes. Our friends were staying in a cheaper hotel just up the street puente real and this was more like a resort with kids entertainment all day, big stages, foam parties, music and just general atmosphere I was gutted when we called into their hotel to see the difference I do hope come the summer this hotel is ready and equipped for families

Really enjoyed my week here. Rooms were clean, food was good and staff were friendly. I think the negative reviews have been given by people that are maybe more used to 5 star resorts.

I liked the location and our room position. The area was nice and not at all hilly. Decent pool. The actual room was pretty basic. All inclusive foods were okay in quality, quite varied, but food wasn't at all hot in temperature, even when delivered to servery area. Partner was really ill and hadn't eaten for two days. I asked if he could have some melon in his room and was quickly told that it was absolutely impossible. On the Sunday, 4th night, the same restaurant head waiter said that I would be refused entry thereafter without paperwork, this was given at 1.30 a.m. on the previous Wednesday, though, I had my inclusive band and my room card! I had to have two letters re-issued ... I had no idea of their importance. Unnecessarily strict beyond belief. T.V. abroad seems to be fine if you're Spanish, German, French, but not if you're British anymore, 1 channel ...the news.

This hotel deserves better than people write. It is a three star hotel that charges three star prices. It certainly needs updating but the rooms are cleaned every day. The breakfast is good. And lunch and dinner there is always a fish or meat dish. The drinks are fine and plentiful. All of the staff are friendly. The bar tables should be cleaned more often. All I would say is give it a try

The staff at this hotel was extremely nice and caring. The hotel is close to the beach and even has it's own gate making it easier to get to the other side. The rooms could maybe have a little improvement regarding some of the doors to the terrace didn't lock properly but that was a small issue. The breakfast wasn't really the best. It was plain bread and cheese that to me seemed like it wasn't cheese and it didn't taste cheese. For lunch and dinner, there was always ice cream for dessert and some other stuff that was rotating and had mostly the same food. They only switched the meat/fish and sometimes the dessert. The jelly tasted like it was made the day before or more like if it was from the day priors dinner. One thing I didn't quite like is that the 1st floor isn't connected to the main staircase so if you wanted to go to 1st floor without elevator you had to go to a floor between 2 and 4 and go down the stairs in the right hallway in the end. You could go outside and up the stairs, but sometimes it was locked. The people cleaning the rooms didn't replace our toilet paper so we had to go out and buy ourselves.
