Beautiful stay! We were lucky enough to receive a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which made the experience even more special. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, and the service was seamless from start to finish.
The restaurants on-site were a little on the pricey side and leaned more towards fine dining with smaller portions, but the room service and poolside food were much more reasonably priced and still delicious.
The beach is just steps away and there are lovely walking trails nearby, which made it perfect for relaxing strolls and enjoying the surroundings. It was also within walking distance to Bali Collection, where there are plenty of shops, restaurants, and massage/spa options to enjoy.

We were so excited to spend our final few days in Bali at Paradisus by Meliá Nusa Dua. The drive into the resort was beautiful, and we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff in the Family Concierge area with fresh coconuts on arrival. We immediately felt welcomed and were genuinely excited about our stay.
Unfortunately, things quickly took a turn when we discovered that our Family Duplex room, located on the fourth floor, had balcony doors that could not be deadlocked. We are travelling with a five-year-old and a very active, curious three-year-old. Within minutes, our three-year-old was able to independently open the balcony doors and access the balcony without any assistance.
This was extremely concerning. The balcony contains furniture that could easily be climbed on, and the railing itself did not appear high enough to provide reassurance for families with young children. In my opinion, this is a significant safety oversight.
We immediately raised our concerns with staff, and an engineer was sent to our room. He attempted to show us how to lock the doors before explaining that the doors were designed without a deadlock feature. He further advised that all of the Family Duplex rooms on the fourth floor have the same design and cannot be deadlocked.
This was particularly alarming given that these rooms are specifically marketed towards families with young children.
The following morning, we met with staff to discuss the issue. We were initially advised that we could move to a room with a lock, but that there would be an additional charge. I explained that this was unacceptable, as the issue related to the safety of our children rather than a room preference. Staff later agreed to move us to a different room without any extra cost. While I appreciated this resolution, I was disappointed that it was required in the first place.
Later that day, we spent time at the pool area. The grounds and facilities are undeniably beautiful, however the resort appeared significantly understaffed. There were only two staff members servicing a very busy pool area, making it nearly impossible for them to keep up with guest requests. It took approximately 30–40 minutes simply to order and receive a bottle of water.
When paying premium prices to stay at a luxury resort, this level of service falls well below expectations.
I understand that newly opened hotels often experience teething issues and operational challenges. However, safety and service are two areas that should be fully addressed before welcoming guests.
Paradisus by Meliá Nusa Dua has enormous potential. The property is beautiful, the staff are friendly and genuinely try their best, but serious attention needs to be given to both child safety and staffing levels. My greatest concern remains the balcony door design in the Family Duplex rooms, and I sincerely hope action is taken before a preventable accident occurs.

My sister and her young family stayed here towards the end of our Bali trip, so we spent quite a bit of time exploring the resort and checking out the accommodation options.
The family setup was really well designed, with a separate one-bedroom style layout for the parents and bunk beds for the kids, plus a small verandah that opened straight out onto a shared pool area — perfect for families.
The resort itself is spectacular. Beachfront location, multiple restaurant options and so many different accommodation areas spread throughout the property. Everywhere you walk there are beautiful little pockets of bridges over pools, tropical gardens and kids activities, giving the whole place a really relaxed resort feel.
A great option for families wanting a larger resort experience in Bali with plenty to do without needing to leave the property.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! A must stay if you have kids.
The ladies in the kids club deserve an extra special shout out. Dita, Tya, ceka (ieka)? Sorry didn’t catch the spelling correctly! But they made us feel so comfortable with the kids it truly made us feel at ease. Koa and banks loved kids club!
All staff were incredible. Can’t fault a single thing

I recently stayed at Paradisus by Meliá Bali and had an unreal experience. The service across the resort was top quality, but I’ve got to give a special mention to Ryan by the pool — his service was genuinely out of this world. He was always switched on, super friendly, and made sure we were looked after the whole time. Nothing was too much trouble for him.
Big thanks as well to Widhi, Suastika, Agung and Irsyad — all of them were professional, welcoming and made the stay even better. Paradisus is 100% the best resort in Nusa Dua. Definitely coming back.
