We recently stayed at Paloma Beach Apartments for 10 days, and while there are a few positives, the overall experience left a lot to be desired.
The rooms themselves were clean and fairly modern, which was a good start. However, the bathrooms really need extractor fans—after a shower, the humidity just lingers, which isn’t ideal.
One of the more frustrating aspects was the hidden charges. You have to pay €2 per person, per day just to use the sunbeds. That feels like a bit of a rip-off, especially considering you’re already paying to stay there. To make matters worse, the bars around the pool close by 4 or 5 PM, and you’re kicked off the sunbeds by 6:30 or 7 PM, so you’re not even getting a full day’s use.
Evenings weren’t much better. We tried sitting on the balcony after 10 PM, speaking in quiet tones and playing a game of cards, and still got shouted at by security, who were honestly quite rude. It felt like any attempt to relax was policed unnecessarily.
Another big letdown was the lack of housekeeping. In 10 days, our room was never cleaned once. We had a towel change just once, and if we wanted fresh bedding, we had to pay extra—something that should absolutely be included in a stay of that length.
In short, while the accommodation itself has potential, the overall management and extra charges really bring the experience down. It felt less like a holiday and more like a series of petty rules and fees. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re happy to pay extra for the basics and don’t mind being treated like a teenager at a school trip.

Lovely clean apartment with sea view. The pool is nice and clean. The location is great with short walk to beach and the main part of Los Christianos. We enjoyed our stay here and definitely will stay again in our next trip to Tenerife. Thank you

The apartments were great and suited our needs fantastically. The pool area is clean and the water is great. You could easily spend the whole day lazing around. There is a €2 charge for the sunbed which I'm happy with. I guess not everyone will agree with me. The location is great with a lovely sea front walk to the main part of Los Christianos.

Arrived on the 13th of June bar and restaurant shut no advance warning. No floats allowed in pool no ball games allowed in pool. Need to pay for sun beds and umbrella daily and day beds. If you require daily towel change you pay extra we are here 6 days and no bins changed. If you need to use the toilets the key is with the life guard.

Advertised evening entertainment on Love holiday Feels like a school trip . I'll definitely be making a big complaint for FALSE advertisement. Paloma Beach Apartments need to let Love holidays know there's absolutely ZERO entertainment.. taxi each night to experience any type of entertainment. Proper holiday entertainment. Then taxi home . Pool side bar / snack bar closed too early for a holiday resort. If we had known beforehand I would have booked a different location . I'll also add when we ask for clean bed sheets there's a 10 euro charge . Can't wait for the cheeky reply from Gary. It's the norm for him for negative reviews. This gets worse . The reception is closed at 6.36 pm . I needed assistance from the staff but nobody was there. Security who could barely understand me just kept saying closed , closed . Avoid at all costs unless you are a resident. She was able to tell me this isn't a holiday resort it's residential. I changed my room review to a 2 as out of 5 apartments only 2 were decent. NEVER AGAIN 👎👎
Also Gary when I spoke to you about the information on your website regarding onsite entertainment you told me around the corner was onsite.
