Avoid this hotel you can find much, much better for same price! They left us waiting for our room for a whole day waiting in the hot reception room in the blazing heat leaving us feeling ill and tired on our first day there. But not just us, they left families with children as-well which is absolutely disgusting after a day of travelling. They said it was due to us arriving throughout the night but we found from other people that they had overbooked the rooms. We also had to wait for the manager to arrive to get this resolved where they said she would be there at 10am in the morning and she didn’t turn up until till about 1pm. The staff were the rudest people I have ever met and are not friendly towards anybody unless you are one of them. The room was standard however the air-con did not work properly and shower had mould. The food was absolutely rancid and the chicken smelt like fish leaving my boyfriend with food poisoning. This meant he was sick all night after and when asking for staff to help clean they said there was nothing they could do. Eventually, a man from reception same to clean but did not do it properly making me having to ask for the cleaning products to do it myself. We saw staff turn off the air-con in the dinner room with the bread knife!! The food was yesterday’s left overs most nights and we had to pay to eat out as most people did even though we payed for all inclusive. We spoke to many guests staying there and they all said they regret booking here and they would never recommend to anybody else. We could not get any part of our money back in the end and was a nightmare hotel. Location was far from the main, busy part of Marmaris and you will have to walk a little while to reach the beach. And note you will have to pay money everyday for a taxi or bus to the main strip. PLEASE do not book to stay here especially if you have children.

Great location, friendly staff. The first room we were put in was well below standard so asked to be changed, second room much better but needed deep cleaning. Food was OK if you like chicken. Not much choice so we ate out the majority of our stay. Pools were freezing and the outside loungers and tables were dirty, some broke but we did visit at the end of the season. I wouldn't stay here again.

I do not recommend at all I had the worst week, wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. The staff were really rude the rooms were so dirty, the bed had mould on it. We received dirty towels with blood and feces on them. The shower and sink did not work water wasn’t coming out it was literally air, we spoke to the reception many times about this and they did nothing. We payed for all inclusive but this was not all inclusive at all. We were only allowed water once with was at dinner time. Alcohol was served day and night. Food is not good at all, we ate salad and chips the whole week. After dinner time my sister felt a little ill and we asked the reception if we could have some water and they told us they can’t help us and that we should go and buy it. The AC was disgusting and didn’t work that well we all got sore throats from it. I do not recommend at all.

Firstly, I was extremely nervous on arrival to Palmea due to the bad reviews I had read, but honestly it wasn’t that bad, let me tell you why… We arrived at 4.30am and were checked in quickly and a nice man helped us with our bags and showed us to our room. Our room was in the second block on the 4th floor, great view of the main pool. The room basic but done the job, air con worked fine, good sized balcony. We did not pay a lot for this holiday so I was never expecting luxury. Only slight issue with the room was the shower flooding the floor every time we used it. We went for the all inclusive option, I am not a fussy eater but sometimes the food was questionable. Breakfast was good, lovely fresh pancakes and fried eggs. Lunch was also okay, fresh chips and pasta etc. I wasn’t too keen on the dinner so we only had it once and ate out every other night, but that was just my preference, there was always enough choice for everyone. Drinks were good, lovely white wine, cocktails and a selection of spirits and soft drinks. The all inclusive ends at 10.30pm. The main issue for me during my stay were the guests. The type of people that Palmea hotel attracts are not pleasant. Very rowdy, loud and quite frankly full of chavs. The guests were not nice to the staff at all, always giving them abuse. I had read that the staff were ‘absolutely awful’ and ‘rude’ but I didn’t experience this once, I believe it works both ways, if you are unkind to them, they will treat you the same way. Our room was tidied everyday, not cleaned. Our beds were made and the towels were folded up, however we ran out of toilet paper on day 5 out of 7 and they did not give us anymore for the duration, which was odd. The hotel is in a good location, 5 minute walk to the beach. We avoiding sitting around the pool as it was chaos, young children with appalling bad language, and people blind drunk from 11am. There is not enough sunbeds either. So overall, you get what you pay for. Minus the other guests. I enjoyed my stay at Palmea but I think there are better hotels in Marmaris.

When we had arrived to the hotel no help was given to take our suitcases to the rooms. I am 6 months pregnant and they knew but still watched me carry my luggage. Anyway we had arrived to the rooms. Now this holiday worked out to £2393 for 3 people which is nearly £800 each. Our rooms were absolutely appalling. From smashed windows to feces on beds. My brother didn’t even stay at Palmea as he paid for another hotel due to these issues. We had to stay as we couldn’t afford to get another hotel. This is 100% not a 4 star hotel. Our drains were blocked which meant every time I had a shower the whole bathroom would be flooded. 6 months pregnant and this was not safe at all. Our sink was broken, our toilet was hanging off. I feel like staff picked and chose who to give the better rooms too. The staff were just plain rude. Could not speak a word of English and every time I asked something they said they didn’t understand the level of professionalism was appalling. No entertainment. I can’t believe how bad this hotels food was I paid for all inclusive bear in mind we don’t drink alcohol so I really paid this price for the food. Instead we ate out twice a day for the full 10 days. The chicken we were served was pink in the middle. The chips were nowhere near cooked. Now to cleanliness our room was not cleaned for the full 10 days I was there. I had to ask house keeping for toilet rolls myself as they failed to stock up. I also had to ask for towels. I really am disappointed and dissatisfied with my stay. This was supposed to be my baby moon which I was so excited for. Staff that worked in this hotel were very intimidating and unprofessional.The pictures that this hotel has posted are fake this hotel looks nothing like this.
