Beautiful old building in a great location, everywhere is accessible, within a 10 minute walk. Our room was air conditioned and come with a mini fridge and big balcony.
The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. They are in need of a slight freshen up, we had a junior suite which was lovely however the shower head had no way of attaching to anything so you had to just hold it the whole time you are in the shower. Not a big deal but an easy fix for the hotel.
There is one giant drawback to this hotel which is sadly out of thier control. Right across the street is a huge nightclub that opens from 12am-6am Wednesday-Sunday. The sound travels through the walls and windows and keeps you awake the entire time. I can't see a fix for this other than the nightclub closing, but it has to be pointed out. It's a real shame as other than that the hotel is lovely. If you're an extremely heavy sleeper, you would be fine.
In summary, a lovely hotel, lovely staff, lovely location, really annoying nightclub next door.

We spent a fabulous night here. The hotel is gorgeous and quaint with a beautiful courtyard and pool. The connected restaurant is lovely and breakfast was great. The room was perfect with a large comfortable bed and everything was spotless. The staff were really lovely.

The perfect place to stay in old Rethymno! Very clean, kind and accommodating staff, excellent location, and beautiful building. The hotel itself is quiet, but there is some noise from the restaurants and clubs nearby. I am a light sleeper and was fine with earplugs and some white noise playing.

Great place to stay, would not hesitate to return. Shower could have been better, however adequate. Breakfast a little basic again adequate. Lovely staff, what a wonderful stay.

A boutique hotel in a renovated Venetian building. It looks like we're living in history. Love the exposed beams on the roofs. The bed is very comfortable. The host is warm and welcoming. The place could be better insulated to sound, but with a historical building, I am sure there are limitations. The location is excellent. There are no elevators, so not ideal for people with mobility issues.
