We were guests at the Outrigger from mid-August.
Below is a short list of what we liked and what we didn't like.

- Great ocean view and private beach area,
- Snorkeling is possible directly within the hotel complex
- Extensive grounds with plants and animals in a successful concept
- Many friendly staff
- Sam in the restaurant at dinner was very friendly, attentive, committed, and busy

- Bird droppings on the chairs in the restaurant and therefore sometimes on clothing
- Second tennis court not in usable condition due to broken net
- Navana Spa
Use only for those aged 16 and over, no time slots for use with children aged 12 and over
- The apartment and hotel building appear worn, with visible repairs and poor craftsmanship.
- Family room amenities:
Missing: cups and glasses and bathrobes for children.
Amenities for adults only.
No wardrobe in the children's room, although three children's beds are available.
- Closet door can only be opened on one side with considerable force.
- Not enough hooks/coat hangers.
- Cats and birds in the restaurant, tolerated by the staff.
The hotel complex is very nice, but unfortunately the sports facilities are in poor condition. The beach volleyball net is sagging, the tennis net is sagging, and the fence at the tennis court has many holes.
- There is a heliport nearby with frequent takeoffs and landings, which you can hear.
In conclusion, it was a nice stay with many relaxing moments, but not a dream hotel.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Outrigger Mauritius! We felt truly well taken care of, and the services were exceptional. We would especially like to mention Mr. Sam from the Mercado restaurant – an extraordinary person, warm and friendly, with outstanding hospitality. Communicating with him was a real pleasure, and he made our experience even more memorable. We also want to thank Mr. Kavi, the manager at Le Bleu, who is an extraordinary person, attentive to every guest’s need and always ensuring a perfect experience. Many thanks to the entire team for a flawless stay – we can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful location with a great ambience! The resort has a private beach with activities like snorkeling and kayaking, though these are available only for limited hours. The pool is well-maintained, and both breakfast and dinner offer a wide variety of food options. Lunch could use a bit more variety. The overall service was okay—some improvement is needed in communication, as staff didn’t provide clear information in advance about spa bookings and activities. Still, it's a lovely place to relax, enjoy nature, take great photos, and unwind. Worth a visit!
