We had a wonderful stay at Naama Bay Hotel & Resort (April 2026) and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Sharm El Sheikh.
The hotel is in a great location, but what really made our holiday so special was the exceptional service from the staff!
From the moment we arrived, Ahmed Mohamed on Reception made us feel welcome. He was always professional, friendly and courteous. Every time he remembered our names, & genuinely made us feel valued as guests. He is a real credit to the hotel and an excellent example of first-class customer service.
Our room was looked after by Ahmed, the Room Porter, who did an amazing job throughout our stay. The room was spotless every day, and he often created beautiful towel displays decorated with fresh flowers. His attention to detail and hard work was so visible, and it was always an exciting experience returning to such a clean and beautifully made up room.
In the main restaurant, Bassam Khalid and Feikry provided exceptional service. Although this restaurant was buffet style, they made every meal feel much more personal. They always greeted us, came over to help seat us, remembered our preferences, helped with drinks and plates, and took the time to ask about our day. We genuinely looked forward to seeing them at breakfast, lunch & dinner!
At the lounge bar, Mustfa was fantastic. He was always friendly and welcoming, and became famous with us for his special mocktails, which we called 'Mustfa Mocktails'. He added a personal touch that made every drink even more enjoyable.
A special thank you also to Emil Botros for his kindness and professionalism during our stay.
Finally, Mahmoud Ahmed from Diving Vision / Tasneem Aqua Sports (the hotel tour desk) was one of the people who really helped make our holiday really special. He took the time to sit down with us, listen to what we wanted from our excursions, and understand what we felt comfortable with. Rather than simply trying to sell trips, he genuinely cared about helping us choose the experiences that were right for us. His advice was always honest, and he often suggested ways we could save money, including using local transport where appropriate. Every excursion he recommended was excellent and added so much to our holiday. What impressed us most was the aftercare whenever we returned from a trip, he would come looking for us to ask how it went and make sure everything had met our expectations. His professionalism, honesty and genuine care for guests are a real credit to the hotel.
The service throughout the hotel was truly outstanding. Every member of staff treated us as special and made us feel genuinely welcome (they were happy to see us). Thank you to everyone who helped make our stay super amazing, something we will never ever forget! We would definitely stay here again!

The overall experience was okay, but it definitely didn’t feel like a five‑star hotel as advertised, more like a three‑star.
The location is great, with plenty of local amenities nearby, but the noise from nearby clubs at night carries straight into the rooms.
The rooms themselves are outdated. The air‑conditioning was extremely loud, struggled to maintain a steady temperature, and ran constantly (it did drown the club music from outside lol). There was mould in the bathroom that clearly needs attention. The bath plug didn’t work properly and water leaked out into the bathroom if you have long enough shower. Housekeeping did a basic job, nothing terrible, but nothing impressive either.
The staff were lovely, but we noticed that basic five‑star‑level attentiveness only really appeared when tipping. The tipping culture is definitely strong here.
Food was below standard overall. Many dishes were cold, overcooked, or undercooked. Breakfast was the only consistently good meal, especially the fresh pancakes and omelettes. Luckily, McDonald’s, KFC, and Pizza Hut were only a couple of minutes away, so if you want something different, you can go there. I went there a few times (even though I paid for all inclusive...food did get boring!).
The hotel seems to be mainly occupied Russians, nothing bad but thought it's something worth noting.
Night entertainment wasn’t great overall, and the preparation could definitely be improved. It would help if the entertainment staff wore uniforms so guests (mainly the children) could easily identify them. The female entertainment staff seemed to lack enthusiasm, while the males brought good energy and did a great job.
If you're planning to relax in the lobby at night, be aware that the lights are switched off shortly after midnight with no prior warning. I understand that drinks stop around that time, but it would be better if the lights stayed on a little longer.
I hope this helps others decide whether this hotel is right for them. Despite the hotel experience, Egypt itself is a beautiful place and absolutely worth visiting.

The hotel could use an update in terms of furniture, as some pieces feel quite old. However, its location is convenient, with many markets nearby. The beach area is a bit far, you need to walk about 8-10 minutes, which can be tiring considering we’ve been to many hotels in Sharm where it only takes around 2 minutes to reach the beach.
On the positive side, the hotel offers several pools, giving guests plenty of options. Among all the hotels I’ve stayed at in Sharm, this one has some of the best-tasting food. They have two restaurants, and both offer good variety and flavor.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Just returned from a 11 night stay here and first time in Egypt I must say i was disappointed the hotel it is in need of a good refurbishment i would say it is 3 star at best.it was spotless clean though out the staff was brilliant and couldn't do enough for you.the location is spot on walk out front hotel and you are right in the middle of everything. Went down the beack for a walk one day it was a shambles down there no room to do anything. The food was not very good catered more for Russian people than brits. the drinks was shocking for all-inclusive only had a selection of about 4 shorts dark rum no white rum about 4 differant cocktails you could get wine in restaurant but they wouldn't serve it in the bars I wouldn't stop here agian

Listed as being on the beach but its a 5 minute walk past all the vendors to get there. The beach is a section which is crowded but you can use the White House beach too. All inclusive and loos on the beach. Hotel was brilliant we couldn't fault it. Clean hotel, lovely food, towels for swimming, and lots of pools, it is set over several sites - up to level 5 along the corridor over the wooden bridge to a couple of other pools one with slides bars and food here too. Outside the hotel you are straight into the busy brightly lit area which feels safe but you will be mildly hassled to shop and visit bars. There's a pharmacy next door and they are super efficient and cheap we had mozzie bites. The staff are so helpful and lovely. Check in was quick the rooms are big ours needed a bit of maintenance but perfectly serviceable we had a bath and over bath shower which was great. I would go to this hotel again but the area and beach were just a bit too busy for us.
