We booked to stay here for over three weeks from 31st December. On arrival, we unpacked three week's worth of clothes, etc, and left the hotel to enjoy New Year's Eve celebrations. The next morning, it became apparent that our first floor room was right above the smoking area, and we were treated to random waves of cigarette smoke throughout the day. In retrospect, we should have asked for another room. However, as we had already unpacked everything, we decided to just get on with our holiday. Sadly, the smoke and noise from the area we were above became quite irritating over the length of our holiday. I'm pretty surprised that the hotel would put people who are on a long stay in such a poor room. The bedroom is at the back of the hotel by a roundabout, which results in early morning traffic noise, so there is pretty much no escape.
The sofa was pretty filthy, having absorbed possibly decades of random guests' sweat, so we covered this with blankets. The bathroom, specifically the shower, was in dire need of refurbishment. Judge for yourselves from the pictures.

This hotel is situated at the centre of the town, next to Yumbo centre where all the night life actions are. It is also very easy to get to the beach, 15 min to the English beach and 25 min to the dunes. Rooms needs a bit updating but the shower is nice and powerful. The staff here have been amazing. The receptionist Jennifer kindly recommended two restaurants and they were the top two restaurants we visited this time in maspalomas ! People at the hotel are full of energy and very friendly, and really made us felt we were welcomed here. Many thanks to them all!

How on earth this hotel is rated at number 11 on trip advisor is beyond me.
Worst stay in a hotel ever, and we holiday 3 times a year so have stayed in a lot of places.
Arrived Thursday 21st Dec to find we had been put into a room next to a room that was having the bathroom redone. Went to reception to be promised work would be finished that day. Long story short but we were lied to every day being told that the work would be finished that day to only be woken up again the next morning just after 8am by drilling, hammering etc from room next door. Even on xmas day and boxing day.
By Tuesday 26th had had enough of the lies and moved rooms. So totally ruined xmas week for us after spending a lot of money.
Also, as per previous reviews this hotel must have the noisiest maids ever who stand in the corridor shouting up and down to each other just outside your bedroom window.
Is interesting to read the previous review to this one which has been done by a travel assistant who says they will never stay here again. Think that speaks volumes.
If you are deaf as a post then this may be ok for you. But other than that give this place a miss. Do not waste your money. It will ruin your holiday like it did ours.

Fantastic hotel, clean, great staff!
Swimming pool was crystal clear with plenty of deck chairs around.
Hotel has a free pool table that seemed to go unnoticed by most guests, high quality table worth asking reception to use.
Staff are all very friendly and helpful.
Good kitchen facilities for those self- catering like us, pots, pans, dishes, toaster and hobs all provided, as well as washing up items.
Location was ideal, next to Yumbo Centrum for shopping, small shop next door and a spar within a 2 minute walk. Beach only a 10 minute walk, with sand dunes 20 minutes away. Plenty of restaurants and bars close by without it being too loud. Bus stop a 30 second walk from hotel, giving all round access to island. Would 100% recommend!

Loved our time here! The staff were incredibly polite and helpful and the hotel ways always clean and well looked after. It’s in a great location, with it being walking distance from lots of restaurants and supermarkets. Not all of the rooms come with aircon but the hotel staff were lovely enough to upgrade our room when we checked in and ours didn’t have it. Would definitely come again
