I had the pleasure of staying at the MS Apartahotel Aguamarina in Torremolinos from October 1-6th. The location, an easy walk to the beach is perfect, and the view from my balcony was great. The front desk staff was very accommodating, as I had to request a "picnic" breakfast a few times, as I was taking bus tours that began prior to 7:30 a.m. The breakfasts were very healthy and generous. The hotel is very clean, and my room was lovely. My only complaint was with respect to the food service provided by the pool. Basically, the service was terrible (they encourage everyone to use the buffet downstairs, where the service was very attentive). If the food service at the pool can't be improved, it would be best not to offer it, in my opinion. The pool area was great, with an abundance of lounge chairs.

We couldn't get into the usual hotel we stay at in Torremolinos so booked a room at the MS Aguamarina Suites for our holiday. How did it compare? Let's see..... Location Really good. Closer to the beach than we usually stay but also within easy reach of the town centre and train station thanks to the lift which drops you most of the way up the hill. Room Our room was more like a studio apartment than a suite as it was one big space with a sleeping area, kitchenette and sitting area. There were pros and cons but the good parts outweighed the bad. We were on the first floor so close to the pool and buffet room. However we were also right above the entertainment area so it was noisy most nights (though always stopped before midnight). We didn't have a balcony which was a bit of an issue for drying clothes but nothing too bad. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom nice with a powerful shower. Proper bedside cabinets would've been nice but there were sockets either side which was handy. The temperature was nice and cool and we didn't need the air con at all. Food We were B&B so only tried breakfast which was pretty good. The omelette station was excellent and there was a decent choice of fruits, meats, cheeses and cereals. Services Our room was cleaned and towels changed every day. We were able to check straight in to our room but there is a luggage storage area too. There was a safe in the room but it seemed to need a physical key so we didn't use it. The free wifi sometimes lost connection but was mostly fine and also worked at the pool area. Pools The main pool wasn't heated but was always warm enough and there was never any issue getting sunbeds. The rooftop hot tub was nice. We didn't use the indoor pool. Our experience at the Aguamarina was really good and we'd definitely consider booking there again the next time we're in Torremolinos.

Nice hotel with lovely staff ,breakfast choice of good food but the coffee machine lets it down. The small bar at the pool could do with a second person as the waiting time for service is really long and off putting. The work being carried out on the roof top bar should be done when the guests leave, not while they are lounging. Still we enjoyed our second stay. Thanks

Hello, we would like to put the MS Aquamarina Torremolinos. We are a group of 8 pensioners from the Czech Republic.We evaluate very well.All hotel services, cleanliness, cleaning, food and service to guests and other services.Especially very well we evaluate the professional approach of receptionist Sandra's willingness and help solve almost any problem.Her communication skills, helpfulness and empathy, for example, when asked about a trip to Gibraltar and other transport to Málaga and providing practical information is amazing.With her approach, she gained us so much that we decided to write this evaluation.Thanks again for the whole group. I apologize, but I realized that in the previous rating I confused the name of an excellent receptionist.I mentioned Silvia, but the name Sandra was supposed to be correctly.I do not want to touch Silvie, but our group of guests has very good experience with receptionist Sandra.After sending the last rating, I walked past the reception and found the right name tag.I'm very sorry. Great hotel for a short stay. Comfortable beds, very clean and staff very helpful. Food was good, plenty of choice. Very good location. We knew we had booked a room with no balcony so that was as expected, we also knew about the construction site opposite, but it did not really bother us. Overall a good hotel at a reasonable price.
