I visited Sharm El Sheikh last week for the very first time and stayed at Mövenpick for one week, and it was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time.
The hotel is beautiful, especially if you’re looking for a calm, relaxing stay away from busy life and children. The architecture is stunning, the beaches are very clean, and there are so many services and activities available that you almost feel like you don’t want to leave the hotel at all.
What truly elevated our experience and made it extra special was the staff at the main dining restaurant, especially Shahinda, Mohammad Aitty and Sarah. They are incredibly dedicated, always welcoming us with the biggest smiles and the kindest hearts. They also made sure to celebrate my friend’s birthday in the best way possible, which made our stay even more memorable. Being around them automatically made us feel happy and comfortable, so a big thank you to both of them.
The food at the restaurant was amazing, very wide in variety and delicious. The chefs were generous, attentive, and very welcoming as well.
One thing that did bother us slightly was the reception staff, particularly some of the younger team members. Their temper sometimes felt high, they didn’t always listen, and their tone wasn’t the nicest, as they often tried to prove their point. However, this did not stop us from enjoying what was overall a very memorable stay in Sharm.
Overall, an amazing experience, and I would definitely consider visiting again.

Great hotel with excellent service and very friendly staff. Special thanks to Islam from the beach bar and Coco, who really stood out and made our stay even better. Loved that there’s a choice of quiet private beaches or more active ones, so you can choose the vibe you want. Beautiful location, comfortable rooms, delicious food, and a very relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended — we’d definitely come back!

I stayed at this hotel and I must say that I was very disappointed with both the services and the so-called “all inclusive” concept, which is far from being truly all inclusive or a 5-star hotel.
The sea and the landscape were the only beautiful and truly “wow” parts of our vacation.
We were informed by the travel agency that the hotel operates on an all-inclusive basis, and this is how it is presented everywhere. However, upon arrival, we were asked to sign for a “soft all inclusive” concept, which included only the main restaurant and drinks from one beach bar. All other restaurants and bars on the property are paid separately. The minibar in the room is also not included, which honestly shocked us — this is the first hotel where we have encountered such a situation.
It became very confusing to understand what was included and what was not. Eventually, we stopped trying to figure it out and limited ourselves to eating only in the main restaurant.
On a positive note, the staff are truly kind and welcoming. I would especially like to mention Islaam, the waiter at the Liwa restaurant, who was exceptionally friendly and positive — we have not met such a cheerful and attentive waiter in a long time.
I would not recommend this hotel to others unless you are planning to spend your vacation strictly at the beach.
The hotel should present itself according to reality, so that tourists clearly understand what they are choosing. It is unprofessional to advertise as an all-inclusive hotel while offering guests only a very limited version of it.

Amazing place and a truly wonderful experience!
The reception team is very friendly, welcoming, and super fast in handling requests.
The food was absolutely delicious — definitely a 10/10.
There are plenty of great activities available, including tennis, horse riding, and a diving center.
The Wi-Fi is also very fast and reliable.
Highly recommended!

Awful.
Never again.
We’ve stayed at lots of hotels in Sharm and this is by far the worst.
All inclusive is not all inclusive.
The bar with the adult evening entertainment (that is only on for two hours) charge for your drinks.
Said entertainment is awful. There was a man playing a recorder for a couple of nights and a woman singing for the other nights.
Nobody watched them (probably because you had to pay for drinks to be there).
No day time entertainment at all.
The room was spacious but In desperate need of a deep clean and decoration.
The shower and sink were extremely mouldy, wooden decorations had fallen off the door and there were random hooks around the room that look like they should have been holding art work?
The balcony doors didn’t close properly. The shower screen didn’t close.
Housekeeping was poor. Towels weren’t changed, toiletries weren’t topped up, no towel animals.
Large sections of the hotel are undergoing work and are sectioned off.
Definitely needed as overall it looks very shabby.
We weren’t quite so impressed when a digger was ripping up the path outside our room at 10pm (extremely loudly).
The communal toilets throughout the hotel were disgusting and the ones by the pool and in the restaurant had broken locks.
We asked reception if they had scales to weigh our case.. they don’t.
Everywhere else we have ever stayed in Egypt we have been treated like royalty.. not here.
Staff are not attentive. We finished our meals every night (food was ok) without even being offered a drink.
Good points: Beaches were beautiful and the towel hut man was lovely.
Excursions booked via hotel sales men was relatively cheap.
Overall, save your money and go elsewhere.
