This resort is actually AMAZING. The views all around are absolutely breathtaking, it’s super peaceful all day, plenty of amenities, surrounded by nature wherever you decide to sit in the resort (plenty of seating everywhere). The main buffet restaurant is large with a big buffet selection of super tasty foods lots of variety and it all tastes excellent! In regard to the staff, they are all so respectful all super helpful and friendly! We feel so comfortable here and if you are looking for a peaceful getaway then I highly recommend staying here. It is up a big hill surrounded by mountains but there is a taxi desk so you can get a taxi anywhere.
We are enjoying our stay and feel very relaxed. Honestly such a beautiful beautiful area to stay in.
So overall you MUST stay here if you visit Dalaman, best hotel around!!

What can I say? This hotel has everything to offer. If you want to get involved, have a good time with people, and then you have an amazing entertainment team that has the activities and social energy in-between to keep you laughing and bringing the other guests together. So, you build relationships not just with staff but also with guests, which doesn't always happen. That’s without the entertainment every evening, which are all brilliant. We come early in the season, so the hotel provides an electric heater for the evening and blankets to keep guests warm in the cooler months, which shows how thoughtful the hotel is about its guests.
But if you aren’t someone who likes to socialise but prefers to lie in the sun and enjoy the moment without interaction, somehow this hotel has that covered also, as there are so many places you can sit and get lost in nature. This hotel provides peace and tranquillity. You can tell the hotel looks after the garden with all the flowers, trees, and grass. This is something the hotel cares about, and it’s so well thought out—very picture perfect. It just gives the hotel that little bit of elegance and makes it feel like this hotel is supposed to be here, up in the mountains.
This hotel has an outdated look rather than the usual hotels you see nowadays, but this shows how much character this hotel has, which I feel is what makes it that bit special. Since you are up in the mountains, if it didn't have this character, it would feel like you're forced to be here.
Rooms are very spacious and have everything you need. The cleaners are there every morning, providing fresh towels and waters, and they clean the room. As a woman with long hair who showers every day, I often left hair in the shower drain, but they removed this every morning when they cleaned. This shows how thorough they are when cleaning. They have a nice routine so you know the time they will arrive. We were always out having breakfast when they cleaned the rooms, ready for the day.
They have provided all rooms with brand new mattresses. The first night, for me personally, was very firm. My partner loved it. But I’m not sure if it was the Turkish bath and massage or just after the initial night; I didn’t feel the bed was too firm anymore. I was comfortable, which very much surprised me. The beds have two large pillows and thin duvets, with additional pillows stored in the wardrobe. The only thing I would say is that the little sofa in the room was very flat. I mention this only because I think everything I’ve said so far is amazing, and I need to find something to show this is genuine. But I don’t think anyone would complain, as you're able to sit and relax. That’s the one thing I would change.
Also, I previously stayed in a different room here, and the bathroom I stayed in then was better. This was because it had a walk-in shower with a glass screen. This current bathroom features a very shallow bath with a shower curtain, which I find annoying as it sticks to you. However, the shower was very powerful, and the temperature was perfect. This type of bathroom would suit someone with children or older couples, as the step into the bath is very low, which would work well for them.
I saw many negative reviews about the food last year. I wasn’t here then, so I can’t speak to whether that was true. But I believe the hotel has looked at the reviews and made changes. I couldn’t fault the food. For breakfast, there were many options—from omelettes and pancakes to porridge, cereal, and baked goods, all served with fruit. If you wanted to be healthy, the options were available. The restaurant always provided nice cold water at the table, and the waiters consistently checked and offered more, which I don’t usually experience. It was perfect, especially in the heat. The juice was quite strong, so I would have preferred a slightly milder option.

We were provided with a sandwich upon arrival since we arrived late, and the juice in the bag was so lovely. I didn’t notice that juices in the mornings, but I’m sure if I asked the manager or waiter, they would have found some for me—they were very helpful. The hotel offers many options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I started eating what I thought was grilled chicken, but it turned out to be white fish. I don’t usually eat fish unless it’s tuna, but oh my, that white fish was amazing. I was so upset because I wanted to have it every day due to how tasty it was and because I wouldn’t have that at home. I went back to look at the menu, and it clearly said “white fish,” so I wasn’t reading carefully; it looked like grilled chicken, so I grabbed it. I would love to know how they cooked it so I can try to make it at home.
They also had a snack bar for lunch, which had simpler options from the restaurant, such as pizza, chicken, burgers, and chips.
So, a lot of choices for everyone.
One thing I would have loved—I’m adding this here because I think it’s important—I would have loved for the restaurant on a Sunday to provide food for a roast dinner, as we do at home. This is because on Sunday I really fancied one, so that would have been brilliant. They provided the meat, vegetables, and potatoes throughout the week, so I do think it’s possible. Like I said, that would have been my preference, but I know English people love a roast on a Sunday 🥰.
If you arrive at this hotel and you don’t book a spa package, you are truly missing out. It starts your holiday with such an amazing feeling—feeling fresh and relaxed. You can book this in advance by reaching out to thecrocus.spa@montanapine.com. They respond very quickly. I even booked and paid for a date, even though I wasn’t in the country anymore, because I wasn’t paying attention, and they were so accommodating. They made sure I still had the appointment on the day I was initially going for.
This hotel offers you free access to the jacuzzi and steam room, which is nice—especially if the sun is too much or if the weather is not so good. You can spend time relaxing in there.
There is a taxi stand at the bottom of the entrance. They have a button to press, and taxis are always there within minutes. The prices are good if you want to head to the Ölüdeniz strip or Hisaronu. But you can walk if you choose, the hotel also provides a bus shuttle to the Blue Lagoon, which is perfect since the Blue Lagoon is such a stunning location. The fact that they offer free transfer is brilliant.
Security is always at the bottom of the entrance to help out whenever they can.
They have such lovely cats at the hotel. The hotel looks after them by feeding and watering them. They are stunning, friendly animals, and the staff look after them, which you don’t usually see. The cats look very happy—lying in the sun and playing in the grounds. I am allergic to cats, but they were absolutely beautiful. I wish I could have stroked them like other guests do at this hotel.
The Sunset Bar is one of the best features of this hotel. It’s so peaceful, looking at the view and watching the sun set with a cup of tea and playing cards until the sun goes down. We are getting married here in September, and I can’t wait. The Sunset Bar is such an amazing part of our holiday and is what made us fall in love with this hotel.
Sorry for the long review—there is so much more I could say. All the staff at this hotel are brilliant, and unfortunately, I am not good at remembering names, but if I could, I would definitely be praising them.
If anyone is unsure, please don’t hesitate—you need to experience this location yourself to fully understand what this place has to offer.

Visited for 3 nights in May 2025, beautiful premises and great staff. The food was amazing too. Bonus: they’re on the Lycian Way for a lovely forest walk. Will definitely visit again.

Recommend!
I recently stayed at Montana Pine Resort, and it was an unforgettable experience! When I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and valued. Every employee was warm, attentive, and genuinely interested in making my stay perfect.
The front desk team was incredibly accommodating with every request, whether recommendations for local attractions, arranging transportation, or even last-minute changes to my schedule. They remembered my name and preferences, making everything feel personal and unique.
The spacious and immaculately clean rooms offered stunning views of the surrounding mountains, hotel gardens, pools, etc. Housekeeping was top-notch, ensuring everything was pristine each day. I especially loved the extra touches—like fresh fruit and personalised notes—that showed how much thought they put into every detail.
The on-site dining was excellent, featuring various traditional Turkish dishes and international choices. While you’re there, I would recommend checking out the Spa. I had a deep-tissue massage, just what I needed after walking and seeing the sights.
Overall, this hotel truly understands the art of hospitality. It delivers a luxurious and intimate experience, making guests feel pampered and cared for. I left feeling refreshed and relaxed and already planning a visit next year; I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Turkey!
