I must admit the accommodation could do with a lick of paint but otherwise the establishment was very good. The buffet always had a large variety of food to suit everyone. The reception staff were second to none and they went above and beyond with all of our needs. The bar staff were always friendly, funny, willing to talk and give generous measures to the people who are respectful towards them. The pool was good but sometimes it was crowded but a second outside pool was available and quiet which was perfect. An indoor pool also available.
One receptionist would deserve a personal good review for her outstanding service. I don’t have her name but she referred to herself as Rabbit. So a great experience throughout and a personal thank you to Rabbit.
If you visit please be sure to leave a tip for the staff because I personally believe that they deserve a little bonus for their hard work

This is our last full day at the hotel. We arrived after midnight due to the national power outage with electricity only restored to the hotel 20 minutes before. We received a warm greeting, a picnic supper and the receptionist carried our bags to our apartment. We read previous reviews and, if so minded, could post our own photos copying the defects. But that would be petty. Without exception, the staff have been wonderful, showing kindness and warmth to young and old. The food is wonderful, with a never-ending choice. There is even a free shuttle- bus to Albufeira. During this week so much has been 5 star at 3 star prices. Well done the team at Hotel Monica Isabel!

We have just returned from a great holiday at this hotel. This place exceeded our expectations and we were pleasantly surprised. Our room was fantastic, right next to the beach and small walk away from the pool area. We were all inclusive and were impressed with the selection of food, and drinks as well as snacks available throughout the day. The views from the hotel were amazing, including the views from the restaurant, especially during sunset. The hotel offer a free shuttle bus to the old town and back 3/4 times a day which we thought was a great. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were big and clean and the cocktails were strong! Will definitely be returning, highly recommend this hotel.

For the price I really can't complain, I loved the location as its right by beach and poolside. I think it might be a tad loud if you had people who wanted to party all night next door, but I didn't have any noise issues atall. The staff are accommodating and the rooms are ideal. Would definitely recommend! The food is also good. A great first experience.

Great place for all ages. Travelled as family of 3 adults.pool area is lively and clean. Music all day and entertainment staff trying hard to make you join in . Beach is wide and cleaned regularly sunbeds and brolleys with beach bar . Restaurant is on top floor with a lift to reach it . Food is OK but not brilliant. Salad bar is fresh and colourful and the fruit bar has lots of choice daily . Main hot meals can be a bit hit and miss but the desserts are amazing . All inclusive bar was our option which finishes at 11pm
