The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful views and lovely surroundings — it really is a shame that everything else fell so far short of expectations.
The food was horrendous. Almost everything served was clearly reheated, and the restaurants were nowhere near a 5-star standard. We paid for all-inclusive, yet the bar had only one bottle of a certain alcohol — once that ran out, they simply refused to replace it. What was left was cheap, low-quality alcohol, and the cocktail selection was very limited. Cocktails weren’t made fresh; they were pre-mixed and poured from cartons.
The hotel constantly ran out of basic drinks like coffee and beer. At one point, I went to the American food stall for some chips, and the woman told me she could only give me cold ones — she didn’t even offer to make fresh ones.
We were a group of nine, and four of us became really ill during the stay. When we reported it, the hotel insisted it was a virus, but we later spoke to other guests who said half their room was also unwell. A member of staff even admitted they would never eat at the hotel themselves. Local people we spoke to also said this hotel is known for having terrible food.
It’s such a shame because the location and setting are beautiful, but the poor food quality, lack of hygiene, and awful service completely ruined what should have been a great holiday.

Gorgeous hotel! From the moment we arrived, the service from the hotel staff was exceptional – warm, professional, and always happy to help. The concierge team, in particular, stood out with their friendly manner and fantastic advice when it came to booking excursions and exploring the area. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.
The hotel itself has a true luxury feel. The views are stunning, especially at sunset, and the entire resort is beautifully maintained. Despite its size, it never feels overcrowded. There are loads of sunbeds available at the pools and on the beach, so we were never scrambling to find a good spot, even at peak times.
Dining was a real highlight – while the hotel is all-inclusive, it offers a selection of à la carte restaurants that you can book into at no extra cost. There’s a huge variety of food options across the resort, and the quality is consistently excellent. Having a beach onsite with a beach bar and sunbeds made it easy to relax without needing to go far.
Another bonus is the local bus service that runs right through the hotel grounds, making it incredibly easy to get to both Kos Town and Kardamena without needing a taxi or rental car.
Overall, this place exceeded all expectations – a genuine 5-star experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a luxurious and stress-free getaway.

Lovely holiday . Great service from Maria and Gela at breakfast. Smiley and warm both of them which is what makes the difference at this level. Xrstina at the restaurant was also very smiley, lovely manners and great host. Good food variety at different a la carte restaurants. Fabulous location and selection of pools and beach. Lindita and Victor at the gyros stand were very hard working and friendly ..please give them enough supply to keep them open till later ! Remember can walk along beach to the next Mitsis resort and use the pizza kiosk and book the padel courts at mitsis norida next door

Amazing hotel - Stam really made it special by her recommendations and attention to detail. Not really had this in a hotel before she went out of her way for everyone. Hope to see her again. Food so far has been great also, the gyros on the beach and Ellindiko restaurant was great, didn’t know what to expect but delicious. Stam also helped us choose brunch which again was delicious - she also had a special pancake made for us which really was enjoyable, service was really attentive. 3 days in and would certainly return maybe with all the family.

We stayed here in mid-October — and it was absolutely magical! The hotel exceeded all our expectations. The entire area is stunning, beautifully maintained, and filled with a calm, relaxing atmosphere.
Our room was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. The beach is clean and peaceful, the sunbeds are super comfortable, and the sea is crystal clear and warm.
The food is simply outstanding! The pancakes at breakfast are delicious, and the cafés and bars serve great coffee and cocktails. Every evening we enjoyed a different restaurant — Asian, Greek, and Italian — each offering truly amazing dishes.
The staff deserves special praise — everyone is so friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with any request. You really feel cared for here.
Don’t miss the SPA! I highly recommend spending at least an hour there — the warm indoor pool and sauna are absolutely wonderful, and it was such a pleasure to relax there.
The fire show was unforgettable — full of energy and emotion. Every evening there’s live music, cozy bars, and a beautiful atmosphere.
This resort is perfect for any kind of vacation — a romantic honeymoon, a solo retreat, or a family getaway. There are children’s pools, family areas, and quiet corners to unwind. Everything is thoughtfully designed and very comfortable.
