Minos Palace is one of those places where everything just works. There’s a real attention to detail it’s clear this is a place that’s run exceptionally well.
Breakfast is excellent: fresh, healthy, and thoughtfully prepared. The gym is very well equipped (just missing a mirror), and there’s a great daily mix of yoga and activities. The pool area is spacious and relaxing, and the beach and beach restaurant are both fantastic.
Housekeeping deserves a special mention. It’s genuinely outstanding. every time we returned to the room, it had been completely refreshed: bed made, fresh water, new robes, everything immaculate.
The only real drawback was the evening dining setup. Serving both à la carte and buffet in the same space felt a bit disjointed. We waited around 40 minutes for our à la carte dishes while nearby tables using the buffet were up and down multiple times, which took away from the experience.
Overall though, Minos Palace is a beautifully run hotel with a calm, refined atmosphere - we would love to return.

We have been lucky to enjoy many 5 STAR resorts. We are hard pressed to remember a better overall experience than Minos Palace in Agios Nikolaos. The staff care SO much and made us feel like family. Over the past 30+ years, we have spent over 4 months exploring Greece. This is hands down the best location and views we have ever experienced in Greece. Think about that. We highly recommend MP as the ultimate luxury destination.
We also strongly recommend dining in either the Mom or Amar restaurants. World class cuisine, delivered with world class service by Katerina and her team.
We would be remiss if we did not give a shout out to the Operations Manager Aggeliki (easy to spell, hard to pronounce haha). Aggeliki will do anything to make your holiday exceed expectations.

We were truly amazed by the level of this hotel. Everything was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The entire hotel was spotless, and the rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The food was delicious with a great variety, and every meal exceeded our expectations.
What impressed us the most was the staff — incredibly kind, professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. We celebrated a birthday during our stay, and the hotel paid so much attention to it that we were honestly speechless. The amount of care, warmth, and special attention we received from the staff made us feel truly valued and welcome.
You can really feel that the people working here care about every guest and want to create a memorable experience. The atmosphere, service, cleanliness, and overall quality were all exceptional. This was one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had, and we would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. We will definitely come back again.

Stunning grounds with kind and attentive staff. Food the restaurants is wonderful. Beach is pristine (although competition for sun-beds can be high).
The spa is wonderful, they keep the number of people in the spa area low so it feels so peaceful. The best massage I’ve ever had (from Angelo, ask for him!)
Dasha Zu
Pros: Beautiful sunrise/sunset views, amazing fragrant gardens, and a very calming interior. The pool is small but enough, and there are plenty of sunbeds for a private, secluded rest.
Cons: The restaurant staff can be overly attentive with drink sales and small talk, which was stressful for an introverted guest. The walls/ceilings seem thin; neighbors played loud music morning and night, so I couldn't sleep well before my flight. Twice-a-day cleaning felt unnecessary, so I skipped the evening shift.
Summary: I came to get some much-needed sleep, peace, and quiet away from constant anxiety and alarms back home. The hotel is beautiful, but the noise from other guests unfortunately disrupted my rest.
