The cleanliness of the Mercure in St Julian's could not be faulted, housekeeping took place everyday.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Great location with very easy access to Malta's public transport buses that take you to Sliema Ferries, Mdina, Valletta and everywhere in between. We stayed for 11 nights, breakfast was delicious.
The pool was very relaxing and towels were supplied.
For anyone wanting to workout, the gym has 3 treadmills, a bike and free weights.
Laundry service was expensive but there are a number of laundromats nearby, just a hint you don't require laundry detergent, the machines dispense it automatically. We used the one in Paceville, triq il wilga, it also has staff there everyday other than Sunday who will take care of your laundry needs.
Overall The Mercure in St Julian's is a great place to stay.

I chose this hotel for my birthday trip, and they made it truly special with a thoughtful surprise—a handwritten card and a bottle of wine. It was a lovely touch that made me feel very welcomed and valued.
We arrived early before the official check-in time and the lady at the desk told us to scan a QR code to self check-in and fill the form , it was fast. Next our room was ready within a half hour while we were at lunch, which was greatly appreciated.
The room was large and featured a delightful little balcony. It was the perfect spot to sit in the evening and admire the breathtaking view of St. Julian's Bay.
The beds were very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly.
The television was quite small, and the remote control was faulty and didn't work very well.
The rooftop pool was small we didn’t go in the end , the lunch at the poolside area is not ideal. With only a few tables and a big umbrella to cover you , it gets extremely hot during the day. But the view was absolutely fantastic . It's much better suited for evening refreshments.
Despite the minor issues with the TV and the hot lunch experience , this was a very good stay. The fantastic views, comfortable room, and incredibly thoughtful service made for a memorable birthday trip, I would happily return.

Clean and spacious room with balcony and most importantly Great view.
Felt welcome from the time we arrived. The reception team helped us to deal with our delay baggages.
Breakfast buffet is substantial. Perfect to start your journey. Feel like the young staff at breakfast could be a little bite more friendlier.
Other than that, it was a good stay. Rooftop pool is a plus, great air-conditioned in the room.

My experience was solid all around, we didn't have booked the most premium suits, but the medium priced rooms. They weren't big, decor and furniture was average but they were cleaned daily (and very well at that), but the bathroom was really good and modern. Buffet in the morning was always full of food, but it was very busy, for the quantity of people that were at breakfast it had too small of a blueprint. Food choice was solid, but always the same. It is okay for max 3 days, after that it gets boring. We went to rooftop bar on the first day because we came hungry and thirsty to hotel at 9pm. Food was not bad at all, cocktails I would skip on (they had taste like they were made from cheap diluted ingredients). Staff were nice, maybe a bit too deep in their work, but I don't mind very much if receptionists doesn't always say hello when i enter the hotel. For price and location it's good choice.

All the staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel is very clean, the room and bathroom were a good size with a lovely shower. The pool on the roof was great, plenty of sunbeds and towels (there in October) and again very clean and tidy. We were B&B and there was a large buffet choice of food from fruit to cereal to hot cooked and cakes. It is a short walk to the waterfront and close to restaurants, bars and shops.
