Sound insulation is crappy to say the least. The bay window does not shut correctly (I don't believe this was specific to our room) and let all the noise from the streets to be heard in the room. And in San Julian, there is plenty of noise from the street. Constructions works can be heard anytime between 07:30am and 08:00pm and at night, the neighbourhood is full bars and restaurant so the noise never stops and you can never rest. The hotel is recent (opened in 2020), is rated 4 stars and rooms cost approximately 200€ per night (in May) so this is crazy that you cannot rest and quality of material (bay window in particular) is unacceptable. This might be a more global problem in any construction in Malta I am no expert. You also hear noise inside from the fire doors (I can get it) and also anyone moving furnitures in their own room can be heard in any room nearby, day or night. If your neighbours are not paying attention or simply don't care, you can get awake at night anytime. Staff is aware, we were not the first and won't be he last to complain. Cleaning of room was also far from faultless. Still considering the price of the rooms, this is not acceptable. Hopefully, there are some good points, like extreme kindness of staff. Breakfast is good, chef was nice. Location of the hotel if you want to reach bars and restaurant by foot is great. Also plenty of bus lines at walking distance from the hotel (1-2' max).

The hotel offers a beautiful view, the room was clean, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. On the downside: plastic cups at the bar, breakfast was not fresh, and there seemed to be a lack of communication between staff members (not a big issue, but it required us to repeat things). Also, the toilet flush didn’t work properly.

Stayed for 4 nights in the family suite and had a great time. The staff were all really friendly, the place is spotless and breakfast is great. The room itself was ideal for a larger families (we were with our three young children) with two bathrooms and more than enough space. The rooftop pool and bar is a definite highlight. Thoroughly recommended.

Hotel is in great area. Everything you need is there.staff was very friendly and helpful. Very clean hotel, great balcony view. Room was nice and spacious. Great selection of food on breakfast buffet. Roof top pool. Id say it gets very busy in summer time, we visited early march so pool area wasn't crowned. Definitely would recommend.

Had a lovely stay!! Good breakfast! Attentive staff that even got us a small gift for my friend’s birthday. Visited early April so the pool/rooftop was not crowded but it must be even nicer during summer. Location is quite central, 3min away from bars and with multiple bus stops to other cities less than 1 minute away.
