We really enjoyed our stay at Meraki Resort Hurghada! The hotel has a great vibe, modern design, and very clean rooms. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always smiling. Food was tasty and varied, with plenty of options every day. We loved the daytime activities and evening shows — there was always something fun to do. The pools and beach were perfect for relaxing, and the overall atmosphere was positive and welcoming. Meraki is a great choice for a fun and comfortable holiday, and we would happily return again.

Overall, this is a really good hotel. I spent 7 days here and, in general, had a pleasant stay. However, there are a few areas that could be improved to make the hotel even better.
I was not very satisfied with the taste and variety of the food, and the drinks were not of very good quality. I would also recommend replacing the sunbeds near the swimming pool, as they are quite worn.
I would really like to highlight the amazing entertainment team. They are doing a fantastic job — always happy to inform guests about the daily programme and consistently lifting the mood with their positivity and energy. The overall hotel staff is also very friendly and helpful.
Additionally, I really liked the hotel territory, which is beautiful, well-maintained, and clean.

We had a good stay at Meraki in overall.
The staff are very helpful and friendly — when we were given an older room, they changed it for us without any problems, which we really appreciated.
The food wasn’t really our favourite, but there was enough variety to get by. Some rooms are clearly a bit dated, though the hotel seems to be improving and the staff try their best to accommodate requests.
The entertainment team is great — fun, energetic, and they really add to the atmosphere. The parties are very good and definitely a highlight of the hotel.
Very pretty territory! A lot of space and places to walk. Gym and spa is also great.
One downside is that it can feel a bit tip-oriented, like you’re expected to tip quite often, which can get slightly annoying. And also russian music at the parties is a big downside as it feels like it’s only russian oriented👎
Overall, it’s a fun adults-only hotel with a lively vibe, helpful staff, and great entertainment. With some improvements to food and rooms, it could be even better.

I honestly question how genuine most of the glowing reviews are — many profiles have one review, no photo, and all repeat the exact same phrase: “food varied.” It absolutely wasn’t.
Positives: the hotel is spotless, very clean, and genuinely beautiful. Beaches are stunning. Some staff were great.
Negatives: the food was basic and repetitive - thing old school dinners. Wine appeared to come from a back room, half-pints served with massive heads in plastic cups. Some waiters mocked accents — played off as “banter” but felt more like sarcasm - they dont like getting it back either. Constant hassle to buy extras even inside the hotel: spa, beauty salon, boat trips, camel rides. €75 quoted for a manicure 😂 Also noticeable: all staff were men, no women at all.
Overall: very clean, mixed service (some great, some odd), bad food. Wouldn’t go back.

Unfortunately our stay at Meraki was beyond subpar, which I was surprised by since it had great reviews. The resort itself was pretty but had an odd setup in my opinion. I also found it really strange how it’s not actually all-inclusive. The majority of food options are an extra charge at almost all of the restaurants, except for the main buffet style one which was most similar to a university dining hall. The food itself was also just not good, it’s either blander than bland, or has some kind of cajun style seasoning and there’s no in between. The beach section was awful, the sand was rocky and dirty, people are constantly approaching you trying to sell you on something like going to the spa and random excursions, and trying to get any kind of service is impossible. My main issue was that the majority of the staff had a serious attitude problem which I was so shocked by because my boyfriend and I are very generous tippers (to those who deserve it). It seemed like asking them for any help with anything at all, was a major inconvenience to them. But I do want to clarify that there are some great staff members and it’s unfortunate that the rest ruin it for them. All of the luggage boys were extremely kind and helpful and Beshoy at the front desk was so beyond kind and really cares about the guests experience which we greatly appreciated.
