Despite it is a large and high building, it is a great place, just on the beach with an impressive 180° view oriented south. The staff is at your disposal. If you can upgrade to The Level, do it, it is fantastic: special large lounge with the view, where you can have your breakfast and some free little snacks & beverages a long part of the day, access to the infinite pool just a few meters from the beach. A must.

Absolutely beautiful! Second time in this hotel and it only got better. This time we upgraded to have access to adult pool and the snack bar during the day and it was totally worth it. We did full board and had breakfast and dinner which was very good and big variety of foods.
The snack bar during the day had unlimited alcohol and non beverages. And different types of snacks each day.
As well the room was updated and it was very new and nice. All the amenities and the room service was done perfectly and on time.
The service was excellent everywhere.
*the only note I have is the gym. It is quite sad that a hotel this big doesn’t have a proper gym. There were classes outside and honestly even as a young person I could possibly get a heat stroke. Since there was no shade event. It is quite dangerous and if you require a gym then keep this fact in mind.
Other than that everything was exceptional and I hope it remains that way.
Thank you:)

Overall great experience. Beach front but the the beach is public so you can rent chairs for 20 euros or bring your own stuff. The hotel had complimentary breakfast at v the buffet restaurant which had amazing views and good food. There are 3 restaurants. One beach front and I think 2 other ones. The food was good. They have live music at nights, bar and Gelato service.
The room was cool and clean. The elevators were very small and hot. Coming from Nortg America we are not used to this. They also had a great outdoor gym with personal trainer & yoga instructor. There are 2 pools. The main pool is nice and has a bar but it's full of kids and loud. The rooftop infinity pool is not included and it's 100 euros or something like that. I like melia chain but they always have this pay per use pool or area. I don't like this concept. I think they should at least offer one complimentary voucher or a discount. The hotel has a spa as well but I didn't get to use it.
The hotel is kid-friendly and have a kid's entertainment. There are not many restaurants nearby but a few are nearby.

This is not about the hotel but about one of the members of staff I spoke to on the phone regarding a reservation. She was unable to help me and so I asked to speak to the manager. She said the manager wasn’t there anymore so I asked if she can put a note for me to receive a call from them. This was apparently too much and she couldn’t even do this. We have gold membership and would have expected better treatment than computer says no.

For many years, when my children were young, we stayed at the Sol Gavilanes - now The Melia. I would say we stayed there about 8 or 9 times. We knew the manager and most of the staff and we absolutely loved it. This year my daughter and I are returning as it is my 70th birthday, unfortunately my husband passed away 3 years ago, but my daughter and I absolutely can't wait. We're arriving on 24th July but just for 1 week. Would like 2 but maybe next time. We're so looking forward to visiting Menorca again. In an ever changing world you can guarantee Menorca will still be just as lovely and unspoilt.
