We stayed at the Meliá Benidorm as a group of 13 and honestly, we couldn’t fault it. The hotel was immaculate throughout, spotless rooms, comfortable beds and everything maintained to a really high standard. You can tell they take pride in the place.
The location is perfect. It’s close enough to everything you need but still feels relaxed. There’s a Lidl directly across the road which was so handy for snacks and essentials, and a lovely Chinese buffet right opposite as well – ideal for big groups like ours.
We enjoyed it that much we’re already looking to book again for next year. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Benidorm, whether you’re going as a couple, family or a larger group like us.

We enjoyed our stay in february 2026 a lot. The price was very reasonable for what we got in return ( great variety of food, heated swimming pool, entertaonment for kids, gaming zone) . We took all inclusive option. The top great things about the hotel were:
1. Original drinks in all inclusive option ( beer, wine, soft drinks straight from the bottle, which is not common in other hotels).
2. Very high level of cleaniness and hygene. Room service every day, every day fresh towels and wiping even under the beds!
3. Wonderful, weel maintained garden, trees and flowers inside and outside hotel.
The staff was very kind and helpful.
Cafeteria offers a wide variety of quality food and drinks ( all inclusive).
All in all it is a great value for money and we recommend the hotel.

This hotel was great and the staff were amazing, especially the restaurant staff, they do not stop! I had emailed some questions a few times and there was no delay in a reply which was much appreciated. Our flight was going to arrive after 10pm and they offered a plate of cold food left in our room as we had booked half board, unfortunately we ended up diverted and arrived much later and the receptionist on arrival (Mon 27th) was so lovely. Sadly, no food plate but we were too exhausted anyway, so not worth a moan.
Surroundings of pool and inside the hotel was so clean and the chilled music by the pool was relaxing.
There is a Spa, but we didn’t use it, but will on our return.
I’m not sure if it’s a ‘season’ thing but the food selection wasn’t massive. However, there was something for everyone both at breakfast and evening. We couldn’t complain there was nothing to eat. It was well laid out and tidy, the chefs behind the counter were pleasant and the food was great. There is a children’s area and room, also timetables of everything going on in the hotel.
Definitely will return as it’s not far from all the nightlife, about a 10 minute walk. We used ‘benidormseriously.com’ to find all the tribute acts and it was a great few days!

We had a lovely holiday here at the Melia Benidorm, please don’t get me wrong lovely hotel, great food, great arcades, great location, great views from our room just a few points we had issues with.
We understand it’s Spain's winter, but the weather was warm and the A/C wasn’t allowed to be used as when you put it on it would blow out warm air, I didn’t even get a chance to speak to someone as there was someone in front of me with the same issue, we had 3 people in our room and they just said turn off the a/c and open the balcony door and to do that when to sleep. Yet there wasn’t even a breeze so we was still sweating. Plus with the heater on in the bathroom which couldn’t be turns off either.
Cleaners was ok first few days, they cleaned the room but didn’t replenish the toilet roll so had to request more. 2nd to last day we had placed the dirty towels on the floor and put the rubbish in a bag to make it easy for the cleaners yet nothing else was cleaned nor was our beds made. Which we thought was quite weird. We just think the cleaners are a bit lazy when it comes to doing the rooms.
