We had a wonderful stay at Mayia Resort. The beach was lovely, with clean water and a great selection of Greek snacks, and the beach team was always helpful. The beach was across the road, but it didn't cause any troubles.
The champagne bar was a real highlight - perfect for pre-dinner drinks, with live piano music adding a special touch. Room service was excellent, and we appreciated the small souvenir set of local Rhodes delicacies delivered on our last day.
During my partner’s birthday week, we were surprised with a bottle of sparkling wine, cake, and macaroons, which was a really thoughtful gesture.
Throughout the day, there was a fantastic selection of street food and healthy snacks. We especially loved the Greek restaurant - skipping the main dishes and enjoying just the starters, which were all delicious.
The live music in the evenings was also very good.
A couple of suggestions for improvement: getting into the sea can be tricky, so a floating pontoon would be helpful (otherwise, swimming shoes are a must). Also, when we arrived around 11–12, it was hard to find food, so extending breakfast hours could make the experience even better.
Overall, we had a great time and would happily recommend Mayia Resort!

We stayed at the Mayia for our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it and would recommend it. The staff are all so friendly and helpful at all times. There were some really great touches in our room as well, with a heart and petals left on our bed and some sparkling wine with glasses for us to enjoy. All of the restaurant and buffet staff were excellent too. We have allergies and the chef took us round all the dishes each night telling us what we could eat, which was really helpful. The entertainment was also great. We especially loved the champagne bar for pre dinner drinks. We really loved the sporting activities available each day as well. Chloe from the Pink Wave’s classes (including aqua workout and yoga) were all really engaging and fun! Overall we loved the food, atmosphere, drinks, room and our stay. We couldn’t recommend the Mayia enough to anyone looking to go, a really great luxurious hotel! Thank you Mayia staff!

What a hotel! More importantly what amazing staff!! Chloe the aqua aerobics instructor is amazing, made our stay!! ❤️ The Asian restaurant was also 10/10 with the friendliest staff, a special mention to the manager and the Romanian lady (sorry forgotten your name we met so many lovely people) you were incredible!! Also the lady on the Ukrainian lady on the crepes (really sorry forgot your name) you were excellent! Thank you so much guys for making our stay x

Overall, my stay at this hotel was ok. The property was clean and the amenities were adequate, but it doesn't live up to a true 5-star standard.
The biggest disappointment was the food. You can’t book a la carte restaurant reservations before check-in, and after 3 PM day-of, booking closes, making it hard to secure decent dining options. When we arrived, the buffet (which was mediocre) was our only choice. For the following nights, we were offered odd time slots (5:30 PM or 8:30 PM), and the popular Italian restaurant wasn’t available until our last night. The Asian and Greek restaurants were shockingly disappointing—we ended up ordering multiple entrees just to find something decent. The Italian restaurant was the only one worth recommending. The food definitely put a damper on our stay, and I wouldn’t stay here again.

Definitely a five star hotel, swim up room excellent, staff really friendly and always willing to help.
Hotel immaculately clean.
Great choice of restaurants who serve fantastic food.
I would go as far to say it is the best all round hotel I have visited in over forty five years of travelling on business and leisure.
Will definitely be back.
