Avoid at All Costs. A Health Hazard Masquerading as a Hotel
This was, without exaggeration, one of the most appalling hotel experiences I have ever endured. The promotional photos are utterly misleading. Yes, the pool and rooms look nice, but that illusion is shattered the moment you arrive. There is no welcome, no guidance, no information—just a dismissive wave toward your room and the expectation you'll figure everything out yourself.
The food is not just bad; it is potentially dangerous. We are talking borderline salmonella risk. Flies swarmed over uncovered fruit and cakes, which staff made zero effort to protect or remove. It is a buffet of bacterial roulette.
Sanitation is nonexistent. We walked into our bathroom to find excrement left in the toilet for hours, accompanied by a stench that could knock you backwards. This was not a one-off incident—it spoke volumes about the management’s complete neglect of basic hygiene.
While the bar staff were polite, the drinks were shocking. The local gin was so watered down it was undrinkable, and even a single glass left me nauseous. It was clear corners were being cut at the expense of guests' health.
Health and safety is a joke here. There were literal holes in the decking, perfect for breaking an ankle, and slippery pools of water at the bottom of ramps turned walkways into hazardous traps. Combined with the bathroom filth, the entire facility felt like a lawsuit waiting to happen.
We raised these concerns with a very kind and understanding customer liaison representative, but the real issue lies with management. There is no accountability, no urgency, and absolutely no intention of resolving guest complaints. Instead, we were offered fruit as some kind of pathetic consolation, which felt like a fitting metaphor for the rotten state of this hotel.
Save yourself the money and the risk. Stay elsewhere.

First time in Turkey, loved it. Nice hotel, it's an adults-only hotel I think that's why the pool doesn't have a shallow end. Lovely friendly very helpful staff, nice facilities nice food, lots of bars, restaurants and shops to buy cheap clothes but haggle with them you get a good deal in the end. Overall a very nice hotel

-Pet friendly hotel, they respect the strays and allow pets in the room
-Kind and respectful staff but they work so hard and long hours, hotel might be understaffed.
-Location is perfect next to the sea with private beach
-Food is delicious especially the Baklava is really in a next level.
-Really nice views.
-Peaceful atmosphere with island views.
-Comfy beds and pillows
But:
-There is no hot water after 17.00 (we stayed 7 nights) which is absurd for a 4 star hotel in 2025
-The glasses in the bar are always dirty. You can visibly see the previously drunk substance which is disgusting.
-There is not enough beach towels, we had to use the same towels we got for a week because whenever we asked for a renewal it was not available especially after noon.
-Alcohol selection is really limited. They don’t even provide tequila. (You can buy one if you like but it’s not free for the “all inclusive”)
-The live music at nights are at best mediocre.(except Tuesday and friday nights)
-The lights at the live stage are blinding, we had to ask for them to be closed every night. It’s not even possible to look at the stage.
-The towels provided in the rooms are usually stained.
-There is no auto parking available.
-No air conditioning in the gym.
-The shower head in the room was broken and half of the water was pouring to the wall (since it’s freezing cold water it’s not even important though)
P.s. They fixed most of the problems after talking with the customer relations.

Great location, great staff. The room view was amazing. Lots of greenery, flowers, fresh air. We never had a problem finding free sunbeds with an umbrella, whether by the pool or on the beach. Many activities around - boat trips, water sports, trips to different areas like Pamukkale, Saklikent Canyon, Turte beach...
The rooms are a bit dated.

Came home 20 Sept after 10 wonderful days at Marti. I am surprised at some of the reviews I found it to be set in a beautiful position by the sea. There was plenty of choice in food if you are willing to try new things… why only want typical English food when you are in Turkey. Our room was clean and tidy with good air conditioning the cleaner was warm and friendly and the view from the balcony spectacular. The pool area, gardens and private beach were well maintained and ideal to relax and soak up the sun. Reception staff were helpful, bar staff efficient and friendly. To be fair the entertainment wasn’t to my taste but other holiday makers enjoyed it.
I would highly recommend
