Stayed for 7 nights and would highly recommend. Staff are absolutely wonderful, so helpful, polite and professional, we got stranded in Huelva thanks to the uber taking us but none to return and the hotel sent us a private hire at a fair price for the effort - thank you Jose! Lots of information available in the lobby and staff especially Inés, gave great tips and directions. A great location, short 10min walk to Tavira (beautiful churches and food!) and a short walk to the train station to go to Faro (found that out from a man working on reception with long brown hair didn't get his name!). Cocktails were first class, as was breakfast - lots of choice and fresh food with lots of variety. Dinner and poolside food was extremely disappointing, like we got yesterdays scraps. Short walk to Tia Maria tapas is worth it - outstanding food! Clean, well air conditioned and secure rooms with all the amenities you would expect to a high standard. Pool was lovely but struggled to get sunbeds. Construction works next door barely noticeable (but this may change when they start to build, it is shut evenings and weekends). Staff polite and professional but unfortunately overstretched for crowds and sometimes service was very slow, one night we cancelled our drinks and went to bed it took that long. Rooftop bar is lovely with great views. Shame there is no evening entertainment. Gym was included and very good for a hotel, never used the spa but it looked clean and guests commented that it was good. Welcome drink and bottle of wine when we checked out - nice touch. Lifts worked well, art work and little shop in reception was really good and a nice idea. Overall a great stay 👍🏻

Lovely welcome including a glass of wine on check in. Nice room, clean and well maintained during our stay. Generally all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool bar opening times were a bit erratic. A very large all male golf group were quite annoying at times. Their loud (and a bit wierd) presentations in public areas were not welcome to us. They had little respect for other guests. Having dinner in the evening with them in the restaurant was not a pleasant experience.

Excellent service, great location and nice rooms.
The rooms are all positioned within a long corridor which looks a little like an airport, but once you get in they are spacious, well appointed and clean. Showers are fab, there is a coffee machine and fridge (we had deluxe rooms).
Breakfast is great - everything you’d expect and more. Hot & cold options, with waffles etc. The only gripe is that there’s only one coffee machine which is slow and created a queue.
It’s a short walk into Tavira, and the rooms have balconies which is nice.
The spa is nice, with a sauna and steam room. The pool is tiny however. You need to buy a swimming cap to enter (€5) and pay a €10 deposit for towels.

This is little more than an expensive B&B. 3* would be generous, 4 simply ludicrous! Rebuttals of TripAdvisor reviews are laughable, pools cleaned daily don't have the same rubbish in them for a week, and what check-in staff should do is not the same as what they actually do! Headboard falling off, towel rail too even after repair! Despite emails informing the hotel of mobility issues prior to booking there was never any indication that problems could occur.

We stayed 5 nights when the weather wasn’t great. We found the staff were all so friendly and welcoming - the housekeepers looked to change the rooms when you put the sign out and the restaurant staff were all attentive. Outdoor pool and bar would be great in nicer weather and the indoor pool, sauna, steam room and gym were all great and included in the price. Breakfast was first class and dinner in the roof top restaurant was also very good - we’d suggest some home made desserts to make it exceptional.
Definitely recommend especially as Tavira town is just 5/10 mins walk.
