Me and my Auntie here, my first ever time in turkey (she’s been here multiple times over the years) and I’ve never felt so welcomed and looked after. Rooms are always lovely and clean, staff are super friendly at all times, pool area is fantastic for a little swim or bathe. Plenty people to talk to. Standard all inclusive drinks/food but honestly couldn’t complain none at all were bad. I’ve so far had a great time and absolutely loved meeting a lot of lovely people along the au! I can’t wait to be back! Entertainment has been inclusive and a good laugh like water volley ball and the karaoke I’m excited to see what’s next! Huge shout out to mehmet, Solomon, and Aaron (I hope these are right! 🤦🏻♀️) they all do a fantastic job behind the pool bar and in the entertainment sector! I’d definitely recommend as a lovely place to stay! Plenty of day trip to choose from and activities! The strip full of shops, bars, restaurants, ice cream & excursions not even a 5 min walk from hotel. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming!

I’ve enjoyed my trip here. They staff are lovely, for example: MehMet was great entertainment and very rewarding in the tournament games with prizes such as sweets, accessories or shirts. Or Erin the bartender who was more than friendly and provided good drinks and talks. The rooms were clean and cleaned twice daily. If you refused you’d still be able to get free water. The cleaners were very polite and effective. Area was beautiful full of activities and very good food for kebabs and clams. The resorts pools were very tidy and clear. Thank you very much for the stay!

I spent 10 days at this hotel and I'm very happy. The hotel is clean and has everything you need, the cleaning ladies are friendly and smiling, and everything is done properly. The service in the dining room and at the bar is excellent, but the best, very helpful and eager to make everyone's time enjoyable, was the animator, Mehmet. He puts his heart into his work. Thank you for a wonderful time. I highly recommend it to everyone and leave tips! They're great people. xx

Just spent 4 days at the Marcan and had a wonderful time. Having read a number of negative reviews here, I can only say that those people are either liars, work for a rival hotel or stayed in a different hotel altogether. We loved staying here, the room was super clean, it was cleaned every day, with fresh linen every other day. The room was spacious, well equipped and had a great balcony. The pool area was great, never had a problem getting beds and parasols. There is also another pool with water slides and a great spa. The hotel is full board and the food was excellent, delicious, fresh and a great choice of dishes. I don't think I've ever eaten so much. There was entertainment in the afternoon and evening, which is normally not our thing, but it was professional and not intrusive and the hotel is quiet by 11.30. The reception and staff are very good and helpful.
So overall we would recommend this hotel, it is amazing.

The good points: the air conditioning in our room was excellent. The cleaners came every day provided you put the relevant note on your door. The pool is a decent size and there are lots of sunbeds, so we never had to bother about a morning rush to grab one. The fridge in the room worked. The shower needs a deep clean but there was good water pressure and good hot water in the afternoon/evening. The breakfast omelettes and fried eggs were excellent and cooked for you by very friendly chefs. The location is good and the garden is pleasant with a lot of cleaning going on outside most days. The weather was absolutely glorious!
However, we encountered a lot of problems. Our room was not clean, especially the shower room, when we arrived at 5am. The toilet seat was usable but broken. The cleaners did come the next morning after we reported our concerns to reception. There is no plug in the sink (hotel policy) and only warm water in the morning so shaving is not easy. There is no kettle in the room. We had booked a double room but had two single beds pushed together so the double bedding did not fit. The Internet worked well for five days but then completely packed up for our remaining six days forcing me to pay roaming charges. There was little information about the problem or when it might be fixed and many people were annoyed. My partner was very ill one night with sickness and diarrhoea and this was after two days spent in the hotel, so it probably came from the food. We were aware of others suffering similarly, some gave us their medication. We required fresh linen in the middle of the night and the night porter who brought this asked for money! You will stub your toe on the shower plinth en route to the sink, especially in the dark after using the toilet! There are the usual warnings about valuables but if you want to use the safe there is a fee!
There is only a bar in the pool area (and in the restaurant at meal times). Outside the restaurant all drinks are served in plastic cups. The hotel desperately needs a decent bar with comfortable seats in a location where proper glasses can be used. All inclusive drinks are from 10am to 11pm. They are only local brands which leave a lot to be desired.
Overall, the food is average, with the exception of the fresh cooked breakfast omelettes and fried eggs. There are good salads and a decent but repetitive array of desserts. Vegetables that are left over are served at the next meal as part of the salads. Meat is generally chicken or turkey.
The staff are not particularly friendly, with some notable exceptions: the young lad in the pool bar, the entertainment man, the omelette chefs and the man in charge of the snack bar area. Reception can appear friendly and helpful but if you start complaining, they very quickly turn against you.
