The only good thing about this place is the beach. The rooms are very dirty, there are a lot of bugs and the cealing was leaking. The food is disgusting and its the same everyday. Be careful of the people selling cigarettes and towels at the beach they are stealing stuff from people at the beach and if you tell the security they not gonna do anything and probably working together because people from the hotel are defending him… With one word terrible experience never again!

I recently stayed at this hotel for five days and my experience was quite disappointing.
Room Amenities and Service:
Room Amenities: We were provided only two hand soaps and no shampoo or body wash. Despite being a party of three, we received only two bottles of water a day, and on some days, only one or none at all. The pillows are filled with bumps and are very very very bad quality.
Cleanliness: The room service was abysmal. The sinks and bathtub were never cleaned, with small hairs visible everywhere. The beds were rarely made, and the room often looked disheveled upon our return. The floor was poorly cleaned, with hair scattered around. The trash bin wasn't emptied regularly, and towels were hardly ever changed unless we repeatedly requested fresh ones.
Overall Impression: If you are particular about cleanliness, I strongly advise against staying at this hotel.
Pool and Aqua Park:
Deckchairs: It was impossible to find free deckchairs unless you woke up at 6 AM or earlier. I later discovered that some staff members accepted tips to reserve these chairs, leading to the same guests always having the same spots.
Beach: While the beach itself was clean and beautiful, it was infested with small jellyfish, making swimming unpleasant and even dangerous due to the presence of larger, stinging jellyfish.
Dining Experience:
Food Variety: Although the food was generally good and they offered new dishes daily, the basic menu (salads, rice, pasta) remained unchanged and quickly became monotonous. I don't recommend opting for the all-inclusive package.
Service: Drinks were limited to two cups per client, and both water and drinks were often served warm, which was particularly unpleasant in the summer heat. There were long waits for drinks and certain foods like fries and pizza. The restaurant waiters were mostly disrespectful, with a few exceptions, and seemed to expect tips to provide decent service.
Customer Service:
Reception: The reception staff were unwelcoming and unhelpful.
Manager: When I tried to address my concerns with the hotel manager, he was dismissive and disrespectful, accusing me of lying and suggesting that only Algerian guests had complaints. This highlighted a clear bias and discriminatory treatment based on the color-coded bracelets used to identify guests from different regions.
General Atmosphere:
Night Entertainment: The night animation was repetitive and uninspiring, with the same performances every night. Finding a seat in the animation space was another challenge, possibly requiring reservations as well.
In conclusion, I would not recommend this hotel, especially if you value cleanliness, good service, and fair treatment. Despite my honest review, I anticipate the manager's response will be filled with denials and excuses.
I recorded a video showing the disgusting floor, unfortunately i cant upload it on google hope you can see it from the few pictures i took.

This was the worst hotel experience of my life. This place completely ruined my annual vacation, which I eagerly anticipate all year long. The services were disastrous, the rooms were unbelievably filthy, and the pool was dirty and overcrowded with daily visitors, depriving actual guests of any enjoyment. The food was a complete disaster, posing a health risk due to poor preparation and lack of hygiene. Moreover, the staff was unprofessional and treated guests with hostility, making the stay an unbearable ordeal. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone—it doesn't even deserve a single star.

I traveled and stayed in many hotels, but this was the worst. We choose this hotel because of the aqua park, since we were traveling with the kids. The lady from the travel agency supported us and said (for those who visited Marabout, please imagine this)- “We had many tourists visiting Marabout and none was complaining, they enjoyed it”. First day in Marabout you can imagine who I called!!! I asked for transfer immediately. They couldn’t arrange anything the same day, nor next 2-3 days. They asked the hotel to move us to different room… we went in the room, and it was the same dissaster! Of course we stayed in the same room… if the personnel is kind and helpfull you maybe can ignore all the untidiness, but I don’t know what is worst!
When you enter the reception hall the smell that welcomes you is something that reminded me of the coffins in Luxor Egypt… the windows were all messy… the tabels and floor not cleaned. I thought maybe that is the case here, the rooms will be better.
FYI, I am obsessed with cleanning, but I am modest ( I don’t expect Lous Vitton in 3 star hotel)! Duuuh :)
Luckily for us they gave us the room right away and we were shocked when we saw in what room we will spent the next 13 days!
The smell was the same as in the hall… tv, nightstands, the table, nothing was cleaned. The bed sheets were having stains which I didn’t want to even imagine what caused them. The pillows, OMG flashbacks are coming!!! They were old, smelly… and the cherry on the cake is the toilet. You can see little hair in every corner. There were small bugs 🐜 the toilet curtain was supposed to be white, but it was brown…
We wele all inclusive, but believe me nothing was included :)
They gave us 2 bottles of water per day ( and we are family of 4)… we were buying water from the local markets every second day, because you can not stop your kid from drinking water!!!
The restaurant was worse than the rooms!!! When they served the lunch/dinner the whole hotel was smelly, even the smell was on the beach… You enter the restaurant and the fight starts!!!
You are fighting to find available table, if you find few available, you are looking which one is clean- or to be more precise- which one is less stinky, oily, greasy; the next fight is to find clean plate (if you can see clean plates, you are looking for the less stinky, oily, grease); next- you are looking what to eat- 5-6 foods (rice, meat with all the spices, potatoes, couscous, macaroni with spices and leftovers from lunch, the worst pizza (if you can call it pizza; offensive for the pizza)). The next fight is to find glassess. If you ask some from the personal, I think it is easier to ask them for 50 eurs than to ask them to give you glasses, even not clean. The coffee was the worst ever! 2-3 days before we left, I saw new machine and saw one of the employees pouring 4-5 cups with coffee from that machine. I didn’t saw that machine before, because I was disgusted from the coffee and was buying from the beach. When I saw the employee pouring the coffee I waited to try the coffee from that machine. He saw me waiting but turned it off. I asked him why he did that, I just want to make coffee. He said that I can have coffee from the other two machines (which I tried and the coffee smelled like the water from the toilet, and I suppose they are not putting bottled water), I told him that I want to have the same coffee as him. He turned on the machine and let me have coffee. It was waaay better coffee than the other two machines. Similar situation was with the guy that pours drinks in the restaurant. You ask him- what can I drink today, because not everything is available. That day I was waiting in line for the drinks, and mu husband said that he wants coca cola, so I asked what do you have, the guy said- only sprite. I said ok, give me two sprites. I got back on the table, and after 5 minutes we saw the guy pouring the drinks opens the fridge and gets bottle with coca cola and pours one glass for him and his coworker.
I reached the max letter limit! DON’T GO THERE!

A perfect location of the hotel, sand and water of 5 stars but the conditions and the food in the hotel horrible. Old hotel with outdated furniture, extremely worn plates and cutlery. I expected that at 3 stars it would not be a luxury experience, but still I have never been so disappointed by a hotel like this before .The only good thing is the beach with very fine sand and warm sea water.
