We had a short stay here for the weekend but were surprised of the amazing service from beginning to the end. The kids even had surprise bags on their beds. we arrived late and they offered us to order food from the room service as we were hungry and the restaurant had just closed. the staff were friendly all over. And over all the food in the main restaurant and the a la carte restaurants was of high quality with a wide range of variety. We will be back!

A wonderful nice hotel.
We had a nice stay here. The staff is very friendly and the food was really good.
The only one thing that isn't very perfect: they have a long but thin beach.
In front of the hotel is a bus stop, the city is easy to reach.

We were here for a week with our 1.5-year-old daughter and had a great time.
Although we were there in the very last week before the end of the season, we never had the feeling that the place had run out of steam or that there was nothing going on.
The friendliness of all the staff and the food on offer should certainly be emphasized. We don't eat meat and had a rich and varied selection of numerous salads, starters, vegetarian and fish dishes at all 3 main meals in the buffet restaurant. Rounded off by the fruit buffet and patisserie. Large selection of drinks, all inclusive and to western standards - no cheap booze. Of the a la carte restaurants, we visited the Italian restaurant once for lunch and the Asian restaurant once for dinner - equally great food and service with a manageable menu.
Direct beach location in the north - but as the extensive area is not built on so high, there is sun all day long on the north beach too. It's not a picture-book Caribbean beach (which the hotel doesn't pretend to be), but very spacious and clean, perfect for us with a small daughter. Also drinks service on the beach. Relatively little infrastructure in front of the hotel (see google maps), but this was not a problem for us.
Apart from the private pool areas, two large public pool areas, very spacious, also good for swimming. We loved the heated 70 cm pool for the children, which our daughter could stand in without any problems. Pool service in each area with an equally large drinks menu. We did not use the kids club. There is no classic children's playground.
Fitness room with somewhat outdated but functional equipment (chest press, rowing machine, leg press, mats, kettle balls, treadmill, spinning, bicycle ergometer) - certainly not standard as in Western European gyms, but perfectly adequate for our needs. The outdoor fitness area was advertised as such, but without the appropriate equipment during our week. If you want to pick up the fitness generation here, this should certainly be improved.
No intrusive animation or loud music throughout the hotel. Relaxed bar and lounge music at the main bar in the evening - we only used the children's disco once, which was a bit out of the way behind the hotel.
We had the spacious family suite with sea view with bathroom, en suite shower, 2 balconies and separate living room and bedroom (sliding door). Minibar with water and non-alcoholic drinks was refilled daily. We are certainly not the first reviewers to note the somewhat unusual combination of the white renovated rooms with some old wooden elements (cupboard wall/paneling in the hallway), which we personally did not mind. If you want to attract the Instagram, boho and co generation in the future, as mentioned above with regard to fitness, you should perhaps make a few improvements here.
The entire hotel lives from the "white lux" concept - it's a bit of a shame when supposedly normal signs of wear add to this white charm (like a white sneaker) - then it quickly looks a bit worn. The entrance area of the hotel driveway in particular, with the first view of the balconies of the land-facing rooms, looks a little sterile. There is certainly room for improvement here to make the 5* national standard a 5* Western European standard, because the food and staff offer this 100%.
A clear recommendation from us!

The good points first.
* The staff are brilliant. Everyone was incredibly friendly, accommodating and professional.
* The facilities are great. The pools are beautiful, everything is sparkling clean and very well maintained.
* Food in Tavernaki, the Fine Dining and the Italian restaurants was good. Not sure it was 5* good, but still good enough.
* The rooms are spotless, beds comfortable and the cleaners come twice a day.
The less good points.
* There was a pervasive smell of sewage in the garden of our room (Lux seaside villa with pool). This was mentioned several times, but it seems that nothing could be done. Occasionally this permeated into the room itself, which was a bit grim.
* The whole place is beautifully covered in frictionless white tiles. This includes the areas around private pools, steps down from gardens, and the lower level where most of the restaurants are. It's a death trap. My youngest son slipped and fell down the stairs, and (for a change) he wasn't running or mucking about. The hotel know this, there are slippery floor signs out all of the time. But it's a fairly terrible design.
* We went in the last week of the season, and as a result, there was no seafood restaurant, the Greek restaurant closed halfway through the week and the Asian a day after that. Bit frustrating, as we weren't told. The end of season also meant that the wine selection was a bit thin.
* The main buffet is okay. Not bad, but not brilliant. Food choices are repeated quite a lot (might have been the end of season thing again), and with most of the other options closing, we had to get a bit creative with choices. That said, the kids didn't notice and they loved it!
* The final not so good point was the bathroom sink. It was a kind of flat piece of porcelain with a gutter around it, fed by a horizontal spout sticking out of the mirror facing you. The tap handle was attached to the underside of the mirror. If that sounds weird, it's because it is weird. The sink cannot hold any water. If you want to wash your face, you're going to have to cup the water and throw it at your face. But don't worry, because before that the spout will have splashed the lower half of your body making it look like you're wet yourself. When you frantically try to turn the tap off, you'll find out that the handle is a normal one, but upside down. So the first thing you'll do is increase the flow, further spraying yourself with water. It's a bizarre idea that doesn't work in any way.
Despite the issues above, we had a great holiday. It was relaxing and made all the better by the hotel staff. But it didn't quite manage to meet the 5* luxury experience that the website suggested it would be.

We just returned from our honeymoon at the White Palace and it was perfect, we have no complaints at all. The staff was incredible and the food does not disappoint. The buffet alone is delicious but you can't go wrong at any of the restaurants either. If you can schedule a private dinner, I highly recommend it, they go above and beyond to make it a special evening. We are hoping to return in the future because we had such a positive experience!
