Hotel was clean the maids did an amazing job, we had a family deluxe room which was nice. Other family member had a standard room which was very tired and basic. We suffered many power cuts and water going off during our week here which only seemed to effect the new part of the hotel.
We was bed and breakfast by day 3 we was fed up with breakfast options and did not go back but the food was well set up and again staff where very helpful.
Lovely big pool and lots of sunbeds.

By reading the responses to the comments, I can conclude that the reception lady that is rude and yells at guests is also responding to the comments 😀😄.
Eitherway, besides the fact that we were yelled at when checking in, the breakfast was good, and the room was not (mold smell and there were a lot of dysfunctional stuff in the bathroom).
Bar and Pool area are great. Rooms cleaned everyday.

There are a lot of conflicting reviews of this hotel and a lot of confusion. If you want 4* rooms you need to book the Deluxe Rooms. They are very modern and beautifully done. They are only in the block across the road from the main hotel. Ground level rooms are swim ups and there is a long semi private pool area for Deluxe guests only.1st level rooms are family rooms with mezzanine level second bedroom and a balcony. In my opinion they are well worth the extra. We booked through On the Beach in the UK, which was very clear about the room options at the hotel, at the time of booking. All room types were available and it is a matter of personal choice. If you're budget allows it, I can highly recommend to go Deluxe. If not the photos on the hotel website also show the standard rooms, both doubles and family rooms. They are more basic and of an older European style, but clean and tidy.
The hotel gets its recent 4* rating because it does have some 4* rooms. But also it's fantastic 4* amenities. The huge main swimming pool is exceedingly good, pretty, tropical vibe and probably the best in Alykanas. Misos bar/restaurant is in the middle of the pool area. It is also open to non guests, just the same as all the other hotels here. There is a huge amount of sunbeds. Just purchase something to drink from the bar waiters, who are all charming. You can't take your own drinks and snack to the pool area.
The hotel has a Gym, supermarket, ice cream parlour and launderette. If you are b&b or half board basis the hotel restaurant does lovely breakfasts 7.30am to 10am. Continental and full English buffet. The evening meals are also, in my opinion, lovely and delicious. Lovely salads and main courses buffet style. Plenty of choice. Head waiter is a gracious man and extremely helpful. Desserts are wonderful and fruit is always available.
Letsos is a lovely hotel. Yes, it's not absolutely perfect, but this is Greece. The staff are lovely, welcoming and accommodating.
All you need to do is decide on what your priorities are in terms of your accommodation and your budget. Ignore all the negative comments. They are just a few moaners. You don't spend much time in your room anyway. Try the hotel. If you don't like it, then go somewhere different next year. But I think you'll find it difficult to beat in Alykanas. Overall the hotel is excellent for a small greek island. Close to the beach; only a few minutes walk. It's located at one end of the main shopping/restaurant& bars street. Location is ideal.

I can understand why many people feel disappointed with their rooms upon arrival. When we booked through the Love Holidays website, the photos showed beautiful, newly refurbished rooms. However, when we got here, we were taken to an old, dark building with a dated room. It felt quite misleading. The hotel should be more transparent and show accurate images of the budget rooms to manage expectations properly.
After expressing our concerns, we requested an upgrade and were shown a much nicer room with a private pool. While the room looked great, the bed was very uncomfortable, which made it difficult to sleep well. Additionally, the “deluxe” section of the hotel is located between two busy roads, so there’s constant noise from cars, motorbikes, and pedestrians.
The bathroom is also quite cramped. Each time we used the shower, water would leak out into the rest of the room.
Before checkout, we asked about a late checkout and were told we could stay until 12 p.m. However, we were surprised when someone knocked on our door around 10:30 a.m. to tell us we needed to leave. This lack of communication was frustrating and made us feel rushed.
On the positive side, the staff are genuinely lovely—friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the beach, and I highly recommend visiting Bocca Beach House Bar. Nisos Bar is also right next to the hotel and they own the large pool featured in many of the photos.

Warning! Avoid this hotel!
We booked Letsos Hotel in Zakynthos, advertised as a 4-star hotel, but what we got wouldn’t even qualify as 2 stars. The room was in terrible condition: ants on the floor, dirty walls, broken door, filthy tiles, rusty bathroom drain, and unclean bedding and towels. The toilet didn’t flush, and the entire place felt neglected and unhygienic.
We reported this to the reception, but the staff were rude and dismissive. They showed us another room, which was just as dirty and in poor condition. The room we received looked nothing like the photos online – this is blatant false advertising.
We paid a lot of money for this stay and it was a huge disappointment. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone. I’m also attaching photos so others won’t have to go through what we did.
