Labranda Bahía de Lobos: A Family-Friendly Stay
Our family of seven recently enjoyed a holiday at the Labranda Bahía de Lobos and were very satisfied with our experience.
The staff were exceptional—hardworking, polite, and always willing to help. Their excellent service truly made our stay more enjoyable.
If you have an adventurous palate, you'll be happy with the food options. We found plenty of delicious choices, from grilled meats and fish to local specialties and a variety of fresh salads and sides.
The hotel offers sufficient facilities, including two large pools and a great poolside bar. While our family prefers to spend our days exploring outside the resort, we did notice that sun loungers fill up quickly, with towels often placed before 7 a.m.
The rooms themselves are spacious, with ample storage for suitcases, which is often a challenge for us. While they could use a fresh coat of paint and some updating, they are perfectly adequate. We had only two minor complaints about the rooms, both related to the beds. The main mattresses were extremely firm, almost like marble, but we learned you can request a mattress topper. Our biggest issue was with the pull-out sofa beds in both of our rooms—they were worn out, bowed, and very uncomfortable. These really need to be replaced with more stable options.
The hotel's location is a huge plus. Situated at the top of the main strip, it's just a 20-minute walk to numerous restaurants, beaches, bars, excursion providers, and public transport routes.

Had a great week here especially for the price ! Food great always hot with good variation , staff always happy and friendly. The drinks always nice and strong just how I like them! The location is great and the hotel is just generally lovely and chilled, rooms could do with a little doing up but hey ho the price is good ! Overall very happy with the hotel.

Rooms, Service, Location is great, pubs, beach, clubs, shops, restaurants, WATER PARK (walking distance) 4 mins, all local. Everything you need locally.
The down side of the hotel is...
The food is the same every day and night, no theme to it or anything, plus the restaurants are small, they can't manage the size of the hotel. Upstairs for breakfast, lunch and snacks, downstairs for dinner but both areas are small. If your happy with chips and pasta, youll be okay. Plus menu is small.
Also pool is freezing 🥶, yes your body gets used to it but it's still cold 🥶.
A lot of sunbeds are broken but still have to be used as hotel is busy.
Entertainment is a bust and I thought it would be okay for Easter break whilst schools are off. Entertainment does go on around the pool but if you're not paying attention you'll miss it.
YOU GET FREE TOWELS FOR SUNBEDS, €1 to renew them
I would probably rate it as a high 3* not a 4*, needs a little work done, painting etc.
Rooms are tidy though, descent size etc, beds are hard, pull out beds are okay though. Double beds are 2 single beds pushed together as usual.
Staff are really friendly.
Obviously this has nothing to do with hotel or TUI but be careful of the weather.
Whilst there's wind, be careful as its still hot and dangerous as you don't realise.

What a week we had here.. couple of things (wish there was double bed instead of 2 singles.. unfortunately for us food not to our taste (evening) but can't please everyone) we just ate out instead as we located excellently for restaurants and shops etc. people claiming sunbeds at stupid times in the mornings when it says not to also towels will be removed but they weren't, not a huge deal for us but thought I'd mention it. Breakfast was great though and loads to choose from. Walking distance to the waterpark which our son loved. Hotel was so clean, workers/ housekeepers were friendly 😀 cleaning around the pool/sunbeds everyday... 3 lovely pools, beautifully lite up around the hotel at night.. would stay here again for sure and would definitely recommend.. will be back again! Thanks ❤️

So we stayed for a week, short review is it could be better but it was okay. Good points are staff are so friendly and the pool is big X3 (main, kids, quiet) that's pretty much it for good points, bad points, the food is bland and boring and you always are waiting for food to come out, eating out was a delight on our holiday, the rooms were also needing a revamp, advice is better is available around but if you do stay then it's a good 6 out of 10
Update, the response from the hotel was not engaging with the active constructive criticism, additionally noteing the "MRS" instead of "MR"
