We have just returned home after a week stay here at the labranda, we were a party of 8 including 2 children aged 8 & 3. Leading up to our holiday I was reading reviews mainly bad which caused so much concern, wondering what we were gonna turn up to on arrival.
But honestly we had the best time. The rooms were spacious and spotless (cleaned daily)
The staff were friendly, evening entertainment staff were amazing, my kids were always excited for the disco!
Plenty of sun beds and we always managed to get our hands on a parasol.
The food was great, I preferred breakfast and lunch as a fussy eater.. but saying that we ate at the hotel for tea a few nights and there was always something I would eat (I didn’t starve) I did see on a few reviews regarding the flies.. there is a lot of flies and I guess the hotel could do with putting things in place inside so they don’t go all over the food.. however flies are flies so not really fault of the hotel.
Fantastic location, we didn’t need to get a taxi anywhere.. all within walking distance from the hotel.
Great time had by all and will definitely be returning at some point!

Honest Review for a family of 3 staying over the October half term. We were situated in Block A overlooking the main pool. Spacious room with plenty of storage and walk in shower. The rooms was cleaned daily and done to a good standard before midday. A few minor issues like a leaky shower tray and plug socket not working.
The pool and grounds were well tended and looked after. I had read reviews about lots of broken sunbeds but it would appear that these have been replaced. Shallow kids pool 0.3m, main pool where most of the children played and a quiet pool, much deeper opposite block J. No issue with finding sunbeds or an umbrella despite the usual brits getting up at 7am to put their towels out.
The staff were all very friendly and polite. A special shoutout to Emilio who worked in the restaurant and the pool bar.
The location is excellent at the top of the main strip with plenty of restaurants, bars, gift shops and shopping centre all within a short level walk. Beach is about 10 minutes away and is beautiful with shallow child friendly conditions, beach bars and a chilled out vibe.
The food was the only negative in our opinion. None of us our are fussy eaters but the evening meals were a real struggle with not much choice. The restaurant was also located downstairs and incredibly hot. Breakfast was probably the best meal of the day, with freshly made omelettes, plenty of fruit and the usual selection of cooked food and pastries. Lunch had plenty of salad options, cheeses, nuts and pizza which the children all loved. We decided to eat out most nights and enjoyed our meals and the ambiance around the town. Self service soft drinks and beer around the hotel which helped keep the queues down at the bar. Plenty of water refill stations.
Cannot say that we saw any of the evening entertainment but did hear a few of the singers who were not great. Not much going on for younger children during the day.
The gym was open at 7am and offered lots of free weights and machines for training. A little rustic but certainly well equipped. Some cardio machines and a big cool down/stretching area.
For those who rely on their phones and tablets the WiFi was very hit and miss.
In perspective we paid just over £2k for the holiday during half term and feel that this was a fair price for the holiday at this time of year when you want some last minute sunshine. Would we return to the same hotel, probably not, but would definitely return to Corralejo. Perfect for families and groups, great beaches, plenty of live music and many good places to eat. The town also put on a big halloween event during the evening and encouraged the children to go into the shops trick and treating. My wife enjoyed the local market at the Plaza.
Overall a lovely time with 7 warm days with above average temperatures close to 30 degrees. I must point out again how friendly and hard working the staff are. I would also encourage everyone to explore the town and surroundings.

The hotel is clean and well maintained, and the overall environment is pleasant. However, I have to lower my rating because, although it’s advertised as family-friendly, it really wasn’t suitable for families with small children. There were no proper food options for babies, and the few available items weren’t cooked adequately. It would be great if the hotel could offer a small kids’ or baby-friendly food section.
The children’s pool was also quite slippery — my husband actually fell while holding our baby, which was very concerning. This area definitely needs better safety measures.
Another issue was with the gym. It was advertised as open almost all day except between 1–4 PM, during which time it should still be accessible (just without a personal trainer). However, when I arrived shortly after 1, the personal trainer asked me to leave, which was odd. He also told me to bring a towel to place over the spinning bike seat, which I found strange and potentially unsafe, especially since I didn’t see anyone else doing it.
Overall, while the hotel is clean and pleasant in appearance, several things didn’t match the way it was advertised, and it could definitely improve on family friendliness

The hotel has been amazing!! The room is very big and we did had a problem with our bathroom door but they sorted it straight away. The food has been lush and there is a lot of variety, nothing is too much trouble and what can I say about the kids club and Jessica? My daughter loved it and her. She's brilliant with the kids and got my shy daughter to participate in everything!! :-D great place for families!
