Been going to alykanas twice a year for last 10 years , then I found the hotel la caretta ohh what a great find .. I have been in this hotel 3 times and going this year again.. Beautiful rooms ,really quiet peaceful place ,staff go out of there way to help you ..and the whole family work very hard to make your stay enjoyable.. Will never book into anywhere else in alykanas, definitely only this wee treasure a found .. You can book with the family directly for rooms and quads ect .. Great wee pool just outside and Cuba bar just at the side of the building..the food is amazing and the wee lassie that runs it all micheala is lovely ..can't wait to get back in June..then we start to plan our September one .. Please try this hotel you will not be disappointed..quads and cars next door Shop across the road fruit shop across the road bakers round the corner and the restaurant just at the front of your rooms ..then into Cuba bar for wee night cap ..bit don't miss out on booking this wee hotel a promise you will not be disappointed.. I’ve stayed in this beautiful hotel in late May for 10 days. It was an absolutely pleasure to be there. The rooms are nice and tidy, it is close to the beach and very convenient to get to any part of the island if you feeling adventurous. It is located within walking distance to all the local restaurants and bars. I would like to highlight though, that the restaurant within the hotel is the best out there. The food is out of this world but more importantly is the staff that work there. This people are genuinely nice people, and they love to look after you and do it from their heart. It’s a family run hotel, and it was an absolute joy to meet this people. I’ve never been looked after that well, as I was in La Caretta. And did my fair bit of travelling the world. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I will be definitively coming back again and highly recommend everyone to do so too. Thanks again guys, much love from London. Dmitry

The best hotel to stay in Zante! The rooms are super clean and modern! They also have a pool and a restaurant so you can check all of your requirements! And the services are amazing! We already stayed here and came back because we loved it so much! The thing we love the most was the owners - Mihaela and Jerry! They are the best and amazing! They will always stay in our hearts! We love you so much and Papi also (the little dog which will make your hearts melt). Thank you so much for everything, no words can express how grateful and welcomed we felt! We recommend it 10000%, you won’t regret it! ❤️❤️

High standard of the rooms in very good price. 5 min to the beach. Bars, restaurants in 1 min from the hotel. Highly recommended place.

Just returned from a really nice week at La Caretta. We had a very large first floor apartment, which was modern and very comfortable with all we needed. The apartments are just off the main road with restaurants and shops in easy walking distance. Micheala and her staff were helpful and welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay.
