Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience during my stay at the Kersten Palace Hotel Rhodos with the receptionist named Mrs. Nena. When I asked for her last name, she refused to give it, saying that hotel staff are not allowed to share their family names. Her behavior was rude, condescending, and unprofessional. I often felt that she was deliberately trying to confuse or unsettle me. Instead of assisting me in a helpful and respectful manner, she repeatedly responded in a dismissive and disrespectful way. This kind of attitude is completely unacceptable, especially for someone working at the front desk – the first impression of the hotel. It was truly disappointing, especially since the rest of the stay could have been enjoyable. I sincerely hope that the management takes this kind of feedback seriously and works on improving the reception service. Courtesy, respect, and helpfulness should be standard – unfortunately, that was not the case here. A heartfelt thank you also to Mrs. Elena, the manager at the reception. She was very professional and truly tried to solve all the issues. I understand that her job is not easy – especially when she has to work alongside people like Mrs. Nena. I would like to express my deep appreciation and sincere thanks to the entire restaurant team at Kersten Palace. The service was truly outstanding! The whole team was incredibly friendly, helpful, attentive, and always greeted us with a warm smile. Every meal at the restaurant was a wonderful experience – not only in terms of the food but also because of the wonderful people. I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Eleni , the restaurant captain– she is the heart and soul of the place! Her presence, care, and leadership make a noticeable difference. Sincere thanks as well to Mrs. Margarita and Mrs. Niki, whose dedication and warmth helped make our stay truly unforgettable they’re both amazing!!!! This restaurant team is absolutely fantastic – a true example of hospitality and service excellence. They were the complete opposite of our experience at the reception. Their kindness and professionalism made us feel truly welcomed and cared for, despite any other challenges during our stay. Thank you all – you made our time here truly special!

We were very disappointed with few points at this hotel. 1.The bathroom was not clean and looked very old. 2.There was a constant bad smell coming from the bathroom as soon as we entered the room. 3.The safe box is not included and they charge €2 per day to use it. 4.Towels provided were very old and not up to standard. 5.There is no iron in the room, and the hotel does not provide one if requested. 6.The air conditioner is not cold at all. 7.They provide you only 1 key for the room. 8. If you want internet you have to pay for per device and the hotel internet is poor On top of that, when we asked the reception why we had to pay for the safe box, the staff member’s response was extremely rude and unprofessional. He said, “because what you paid for the hotel is nothing, so we have to charge you for each service.” The Hotel location is Good and the view is very good and the restaurant staff are friendly.

Me and my partner enjoyed a lovely holiday here at Kresten Palace, we stayed in a room in the main block of the hotel which was very nice, though slight aging did show with cracks in the walls and tiles. The staff were very welcoming on arrival and during our stay, the cleaners kept our room clean and maintained and the dining staff were lovely whenever anything was wrong such as missing cutlery, the animation team provided lots of activites and night time entertainment which we enjoyed. The transport from the hotel was extremely easy with regular buses and help from the hotel staff if needed. The food was nice however did start to feel slightly repetitive at breakfast nearing the end of our stay. Overall it was a great experience and would recommend coming here 👍

What an absolute blast i had coming here!🤩 The reception staff was so kind and helpful, as love holidays managed to mess up my room, which wasn’t the first time it had happened so watch out for that through love holidays. However reception sorted it and got me the room was an additional charge but so worth it! The breakfast don’t get me wrong wasn’t the best option, we didn’t eat any other meals here as we ate out instead, so i can’t comment on much food, but for the breakfast if you’re not a fussy eater you’d be fine! The cocktail bar at the hotel was really really good! Very more for kids not sure if it was cause we went out of season.. possibly. The supermarket on site was mint! and the lady who works there id genuinely pay the price again to go back and see her! What an amazing woman🤍 Rhodes is so beautiful and this hotel really made the effort to fit in! Loved my stay here and would 100% return… people are so unrealistic about their reviews on hotels… but this one was absolutely unreal👏👏

Enjoyed 5 lovely nights here, can’t fault anything. Pool is lovely, not too crowded or busy like other hotels, bar on the pool decently priced cocktails tasty too. Have to give praise to the red headed lady (did not get her name!!) that I saw mainly work the pool bar she had good wit and was nice to talk to. Happy hour 5 euro cocktails inside the hotel bar was amazing too. Easy access to both ends of Rhodes, old town was just an easy bus and hotel had info on coaches to places like lindos and butterfly valley you can book and get picked up from the hotel itself. Rooms are clean, spacious and nice. Definitely recommend this hotel!
