Such a lovely place to stay! The staff couldn’t be more helpful if they tried! Especially if you are going as a family they see to your needs 100%!
Everyone was so friendly and welcoming plenty of food and drinks at all times of the day

Absolutely loved our stay here . Booked last minute and couldn't have been more happy. The staff are absolutely wonderful and can't help enough. We secured ground floor bungalow rooms with private garden and plunge pool which was a godsend in the soaring heat. Food was plentiful and really good choice
The downside is there isn't anything going on in the evenings but a quick walk into town 5 minutes and you're right at the seafront, restaurants, pubs and eateries as far as the eye can see. Easy access via bus to local towns and only half hour travel from the airport. A quaint town with so much character. We'd definitely book here again
Thank you to all the wonderful staff who run this hotel like a finely tuned spring

We spent a week at Katrin Bungalows as a family of four and overall, we were happy with our stay. It’s a place that offers a good balance between price and quality – ideal for a relaxed family vacation.
The biggest downside was the room – we stayed in a Room Family OpenPlan Balcony or Terrace. While it had been cleaned before arrival, it wasn’t spotless: hairs on the tiles, dust in the corners, and a poorly cleaned mirror. Daily housekeeping was provided, but not particularly thorough. The room and bathroom furnishings were quite dated and tired.
Now let’s talk about the food – which was absolutely the highlight.
Fresh, varied, and really tasty. Every day I looked forward to the lunch-time pita – warm, stuffed with meat and fries, made fresh right in front of you. Simple and delicious.
We also really enjoyed the senfeta, Greek yogurt with honey, and crispy breads – all of great quality.
And the most surprising treat? The dessert called Pergamonto. I completely fell in love with it – especially after our waiter, Petros, shared the story behind its preparation during one of our dinners. That personal touch made it unforgettable.
The staff were amazing – friendly, helpful, smiling. Everyone we met, from reception to restaurant, made us feel welcome and cared for.
As for kids – the hotel is very family-friendly: four pools, a play area, daily activities, and evening entertainment for both children and adults.
In summary: if you’re looking for a place with heart, great food, warm staff, and a laid-back vibe – this is a solid choice. We’d consider coming back in the future – hopefully to a better room!

A very clean hotel at a central location and close to both the beach road, around which you will find many restaurants and shops) as the main road leading from Chania towards Agios Nikolaos.
The staff is the biggest plus here; from the reception to the cleaning personnel, the bartenders, kitchen/restaurant and the management. They all do their very best to give you the best stay possible.
The food is nice with enough variety. The drinks, although not of known brands and with adjusted promillages (which is common in all-in formulas) are fine too. They do not serve fresh coffee unfortunately and for fresh orange juice they charge €3.
They offer some services such as massages and car rental. They also have a (small) gym with few machines of which some didn't work unfortunately (tip: have it looked at). They also have two pool tables at the cost of €2 per play. Also these should be looked at since one cue was broken and one table was missing the 'crayon'.
The pools are nice with enough sunbeds and a small kids 'slide'. Pool bars are presented where you can get a drink and snack. Rooms are small and rather noisy and the beds come with spiral mattresses that were too tough for our liking.
There is no 'kids area' nor inside entertainment so at times of bad weather you'll have to hang around at the one bar that offers an inside seating (then again, there's not many days of bad weather on Crete). The bartender is cool though :)
The main thing that is missing here is some 'cozyness' in both the restaurant and bar area; they both could really do with softer/warmer lighting and some plants/wooden ornaments whatever to 'cozy' things up a bit. Right now we felt it's too 'sterile'.
That would surely add an extra star to the ratings.
Other than that, we had a nice stay and would probably come back again during our next trip to Crete. Thanks staff!!

We stayed here for a week at the back end of the season. I have no complaints about my stay and would visit again. There is a good choice of food in the restaurant, which has indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are very good and the Hotel has a good standard of cleanliness.
The rooms have air-conditioning and comfortable beds. My only criticism is the rooms could do with a bit of updating. You need to bring your own shower gel and shampoo.
There are a couple of pools, with a separate one for the children. We had entertainment most nights, but this was probably due to being at the end of the season.
There is a bus stop outside the Hotel, and it's only a few minutes walk to some very nice beaches, surrounded by a good selection of bars and restaurants.
