The highlight of this hotel is undoubtedly the stunning coral reef just offshore. You need to swim a short distance out to reach the main reef, but it is absolutely worth it. We spent hours exploring and were rewarded with incredible marine life, including turtles, eagle rays, countless colourful fish, and beautiful coral formations. It was an unforgettable experience and easily the best part of our stay.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, but apart from that, most aspects of the hotel were fairly average. The food was also disappointing. While there was plenty of choice, the quality was average at best, and there appeared to be a lot of cross-contamination between dishes. As someone with a nut allergy, I found it difficult to eat with confidence, especially as some foods were poorly labelled or incorrectly labelled. This limited my options and made me hesitant to try dishes that I would otherwise have enjoyed.
Another downside was the constant loud music around the pool area, which made it difficult to relax, read a book, or simply enjoy some peace and quiet. We also found it frustrating to be approached repeatedly throughout the day by representatives from the diving centre, spa, and animation team promoting activities and services. While they were generally polite, the frequent interruptions made it hard to fully switch off and relax.
The beach was the only area where we could properly escape the noise and enjoy some peace, but unfortunately there was no Wi-Fi available there. Overall, the fantastic reef and marine life made the trip worthwhile, but the average food, lack of allergy awareness, constant sales pitches, and noisy pool atmosphere meant the overall hotel experience fell short of expectations.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sharm El Sheikh.
The cleanliness throughout the entire resort was outstanding. Our room, the pool areas, restaurants, and common spaces were always spotless and very well maintained. The pool was particularly clean and enjoyable every day.
What truly made our stay special was the staff. Everyone was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. A special thank you to Abdelrahman, who was absolutely fantastic throughout our stay and made us feel genuinely welcome and well looked after. We would also like to thank Wael, our taxi driver, who was reliable, friendly, and made getting around easy and stress-free.
We felt safe, comfortable, and cared for from the moment we arrived until the day we left. The level of hospitality was exceptional.
One of the highlights of the resort is the reef !! it is absolutely AMAZING! The snorkeling was incredible, with beautiful coral and plenty of marine life to see right off the beach.
Thank you to the entire team for making our holiday so memorable. We look forward to returning in the future!

Firstly the staff are amazing including the animation team but there were a few things that let it down for me.
The aqua gym was fun but then we got asked to join Olympics which we agreed to but it was outside in the blazing hot sun on some grass so asked to play Waterpolo instead. It was fun but as soon as we started waterpolo, all the animation team walked away so there was no ref and no score counting and they started doing Zumba instead which was odd. The team could do with an updated playlist that isn't the same songs as I heard 15 years ago at caravan parks. Nothing since 2010 was played in any location and the cocktail bar had the same playlist each night so I heard the same songs at least twice a night.
All the entertainment was by the pool not in the theatre which immediately cheapens the evening. The dancing was average. Half the animation team do the dances half arsed which really makes you want to join in 😂 There wasn't much entertainment past 11pm and there isn't much to do outside the hotel unless you go to Farsha or get a taxi somewhere.
Food was not great. We skipped breakfast four days in a row. The best thing was the pool snack bar. The Italian was average too, definitely don't pay for it.
Staff were always checking on you and knew your drinks and looked after you so that was a saving grace.
The rooms were cleaned well and a lot of effort went into our first clean then after that they stopped caring and didn't stock up the coffee so I had no milk expect for the first day.
The grounds are well kept and the beach is beautiful!
Everywhere has pros and cons but when you're azked to write a review because the manager would cut their wages if they didn't get a review that day, it made me realise why maybe there are so many reviews on here that may not be genuine.

Our stay at Jaz Fanara Hotel was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and perfectly located with stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious, the pools and beach area were well maintained, and the entire staff was friendly and professional, always making sure guests feel comfortable and welcome.
A very special thank you goes to Kamal from room service, who truly made our stay unforgettable. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and always smiling. Special thanks to Ahmed Elhadad, the bartender at the pool bar, for his excellent service, positive attitude, and professionalism. He was always friendly, attentive, and made every visit to the bar a pleasure.
I would also like to thank Ahmad Mohamed, the chef at La Gazelle Restaurant, for the delicious food and the care he puts into every meal. The quality and taste were exceptional.

Special appreciation also to Mohamed, the manager of the Italian restaurant, for his professionalism, hospitality, and the excellent atmosphere he creates for the guests. His attention and friendly attitude added greatly to our positive experience.
Finally, special appreciation to Youssef, our room attendant, who kept the room perfectly clean every day and was always polite, respectful, and helpful.
