Great service and rooms look nice. The premises, however, have a complicated location to the beach and also have a strange gate system. For instance our building is the closest to gate 1 however the entrance in by gate 2 and all the gates have (for an unknown reason) different keys even though the whole place is connected. Also don't expect no keycards, old-school huge keys are what's used here so if you do travel with multiple people, beware you only have 1 key

Amazing place , villa was lovely and well equipped, gardens were beautiful, great pool and kids pool , restaurant had lovely food at reasonable price , pool side bar was great especially happy hour , life guard and security guard always on duty ! Definitely hire car needed as it is 25 mins walk from town on a narrow dangerous road only wide enough for one car and no footpaths . Taxi 8-10 euro to the marina and town .
If you want a quiet time in a self contained resort and lounge by the pool all day then this is perfect place !

The apartment was lovely very well equipped, dish washer , washing machine . Pool was lovely . Restaurant was good but quite expensive (meal for 2 adults 4 kids 130 euros) Paul who we booked it with was always on hand if we needed anything. Highly recommended this place and lagas was a 30 mins walk away was beautiful especially at night , the narrow streets many bars restaurants were all very good

My girlfriend and I were attending a family wedding in Lagos at the end of September last year (2015). We booked a place which we thought was purely functional, convenient location, somewhere to sleep when not with my family.
We were very surprised. Jardim da Meia Praia has beautiful and spacious apartments. For less than €50 per night we had a 2 storey, 2 balcony, very large apartment. There was a washing machine, microwave, oven (with 4 cooking rings) and a fridge. In the fridge was two 1L cartons of milk and two 2L bottles of water. There were some oranges on the kitchen counter with a note explaining the story behind the oranges. They were delicious.
The bed was very comfortable. The receptionist was friendly and helpful.
The locks on the doors were solid. So solid that they do take some time to lock and unlock but at least you know that your stuff is safe.
The only downside was the food in the little restaurant by the swimming pool (the swimming pool was lovely). We ate at the swimming pool restaurant while waiting to check in on our arrival. We did not eat there again. Food was low quality.
If we are going to stay in Lagos again, we will definitely stay at Jardim da Meia Praia. You should too.

Unless you like isolation with very average apartments this is not the place to be. We visited in April with a famiy of 3 kids from 11 to 7 in age. The temp was mid-teens but the pool was freezing, there are no facilities other than a couple of games to occupy the kids and the Sat TV didn't work - really unhelpful as we had a couple of rainy days.
As documented by others the distance to Lagos is 1.5Miles down a narrow windy road so unless you have a car (luckily we did) with no transport by the apartment or items like bikes to hire you will be stuffed. Additionally, no on site shop means for food you need a car at least.
There is a sister hotel in Luz which we've stayed at previously and wish we had this time - I honestly can say this is the worst venue we've ever stayed at and when we asked to transfer were told this is not possible. The Luz hotel is situated in the town and has an indoor pool and gym ideal for occupying kids on wet days.
Stay clear of this place unless you like isolation or come prepared
