Just home from a 5 day holiday to Irene apartments, the rooms are clean although pretty basic but it’s all you need for somewhere to sleep. There were a lot of places not quite open but are preparing to open as we left But we found something to do every day. Could not fault the staff at all, they were always there to help with anything we needed. Especially the girl at the pool. She brought so much life to the place and is really friendly to talk to! We will definitely return to here at a time when there is more places open (and hopefully not have a sore foot) to explore the village a bit better. If you need a taxi to get anywhere we would really recommend Jason from ‘when in Corfu’

I read the reviews before coming and they were mixed. We are not fussy people and happy with basic accommodation, so decided to take the risk. What a mistake!
We stayed 6 nights and were only able to have 1 lukewarm shower. No water for majority of stay. At times trickle of cold water from tap. Had to boil bottled water from shop to have strip wash, wash hands and to flush toilet. Even toilets by pool could not be flushed - disgusting. Lots of excuses and moaning by owner about how she was stressed by it. Became apparent as she let bits of information slip out that she had full control of water and chose to switch it off to lower blocks. Reluctant to pay for water deliveries and keeps it for own house and swimming pool (which is always overflowing).
I wanted to go to beach but was unable as not able to shower or wash hair for stay.
Other guests advised this was not a new thing. One elderly couple had not had water for 2 weeks. Another guest who had been before said this had been a problem for 4 years!
Completely spoilt our holiday.
Stayed half board and had delicious food throughout the week. Ok for us as not fussy but not for everyone as there was no choice - you are just brought whatever they are having for their dinner or breakfast. Would not be great if you have dietary needs or like some choices.
Rooms very basic and poorly maintained. Glad not to be self catering as kitchen area dirty and poor provisions. Washing up would have been an added stress without water. Not good room service. Provided with hand towels only. Asked for change after 4 days and rudely told no. Knocking on door before 8.30am asking to clean the room (breakfast not served until 9am)
I would not recommend this hotel unless you are happy to have either no water or cold water.

Although my room was directly overlooking the main street where there is traffic, I have to say that I liked the room with kitchen very much.
You have towels, soap and sheets.
The staff is very friendly and above all what I loved was the pool and the pool staff. Fantastic staff, sensational food and reasonable prices for a great holiday.
I would like to recommend the hotel to pay attention to the bathroom in the room, I think a renovation of the showers would be nice.
It was just a wonderful vacation. Thank you.

Beautiful views of the green hills from the pool/bar. Irene, Gregory and the rest of their team were all lovely hosts and I would happily stay again. The hotel is a short walk past restaurants and mini-mart style shops to get to the gorgeous beach. My visit in early July was peaceful and relaxing, just as I'd hoped! Many thanks

My review is for the pool bar alone as we haven’t stayed here. The best pool bar in Agios for non residents in my opinion. The staff are so friendly and hardworking. The food is good and very reasonable. Lovely views behind and a very welcome breeze. €10 minimum spend per person. Opens at 9, get there early to get a lounger especially later in the week.
