The Hotel was very nice and suitable for a family. Food was good and good value for breakfast and dinner, entertainment and kids activities were good, but...
Watch out for AC only available between 12:00 and 20:00 in May which is not advertised on booking.com.
and room 1211
This room was supposed to have a side sea view but expectations set out by the hotels listing on booking.com did not match the view we were provided with.
Please see pictures.
Pool was nice but in early May, Icey cold, which we expected.
Booking.com have provided compensation as the hotel refused to admit there was an issue.

A beautiful place to stay with the family, very family and kid friendly. We were afraid to see the room was not cleaned well, and it was the best regarding every single detail, bedsheets flour..etc. comfortable if you want to go to the pool or sea. Several restaurants that you also enjoy during the day without a need to go search somewhere else out of the hotel, we had only Dinner outside walking for around 10 mins. The Buffet [drinks are not included] price per person and during the day is very reasonable especially for kids. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was including everything. I highly recommend it & will definitely repeat this experience with my family again.

Family of 4 (Two Children, aged 5 and 4) came for a week 5th - 12th. We had such a great experience. A special shout-out to Pablo from the Animation team, I am convinced he is a twin or a triplet, he was everywhere. My kids loved him and his face-painting talents. We had a Golf-View Room facing west and were on all inclusive package.
Key Points:
- Hotel is extremely clean and tidy, the housekeeping staff were so friendly and could tell every day the quality of the service they provide.
- The Food is varied and of high quality, there was always something interesting to eat. Even if you're a fussy eater, They have show cooking, 2/3 grilled meats and 2 different fish options at every Lunch/Dinner. All desserts were good too (when often they all taste the same at Buffets!) Zero complaints.
- The hotel caters to mostly Spanish, I really enjoyed the upbeat atmosphere and lack of English people!
- The grounds are so well kept and there was a great many activities to get involved in.
- You will want for nothing, everything is here and included
- I really liked that the Bar Staff offer the Non-alcoholic version of things ahead of Alcohol. They have both Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic Beer on tap which was super.
- There is very little within walking distance, so it's great if you only want to stay on the resort.
- Never struggled for a Sun Lounger (Lack of English/Germans!)
Would absolutely return, thanks for having us!

The common areas - gardens, pools, kids club, gym, etc. - are fantastic. The location is also great, you can walk from the pool, across the green, right into the beach. BUT 1. The rooms and bathrooms are very outdated; 2. The level of cleanliness is poor (no thorough cleaning is done, you can tell they just wipe the surfaces with little/no product) and the towels are very old; 3. The food - other than the salad bar and breakfast - is quite bad, they go for quantity but no quality, a lot of pork meat and low quality fish. I would therefore suggest a change in business model where quality is prioritized over quantity. I would not go back because even if you could argue you get a lot for your money, I have better quality at home for free.

Just back from 10 days here. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Plenty to do, close to the lovely sea. The food was great and very varied. Special mention to Ana on the animation team who is a credit to the hotel. My party of 6 all had a great time. I wouldn’t bother visiting Motril itself. Salabrena castle is lovely. Grenada is a cool city and worth a visit. Hardly any other people from the UK there might be handy to know if that’s a good thing or not. Would definitely go back
