An Unforgettable Family Stay at Ikos Olivia
We stayed at Ikos Olivia for five nights with our family, and it was truly one of the best all-inclusive experiences we’ve ever had. This was our first time at an Ikos resort, and we chose Olivia after friends—who have been visiting Ikos Oceania for years—highly recommended it. We picked Ikos Olivia because of the private pool, and it turned out to be the perfect choice.
If you’re traveling with children, this place is simply exceptional. The Kids Club is the main attraction for any parent. The staff take such great care of the kids and keep them happily busy with fun and creative activities. It gives parents a real chance to relax, knowing their little ones are in the best hands.
The food at all the restaurants was outstanding—every meal was a pleasure. And the Deluxe Collection team deserves a special mention. Their WhatsApp service is brilliant—it makes communication so easy and smooth.
But what truly sets Ikos Olivia apart is the staff. You hardly ever hear “no” to anything you ask for. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure guests are happy. The level of warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail is something very special.
A special appreciation for the housekeeping team—they are the unsung heroes of this resort. I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world, and I’ve rarely seen such dedication. The rooms are cleaned twice a day, always with a smile, and never once did we come back to find the room skipped. They somehow find the perfect time to make sure everything is spotless. It’s small details like this that make a big difference.
Ikos Olivia is the perfect combination of luxury, relaxation, and genuine hospitality. Unfortunately, our next holiday season is already quite full, but we’re definitely going to squeeze in at least five days at one of the Ikos resorts.
A special mention to the GM for leading such a wonderful team and running such a fantastic resort. Thank you, Ikos Olivia, for an unforgettable stay—we can’t wait to return!

Beautiful hotel, selection and quality of food and drinks is excellent. Wonderful kids club, swimming pools, car hire, pedalos, kayaks, bike hire, tennis and volleyball courts. Spa was wonderful and treatment was very relaxing. Staff all very friendly, polite and strive to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Sometimes the service can be sub-par (e.g. having to ask for a spoon twice to eat my dessert as the first request seemed to have been forgotten, ordering drinks to our room and one of the drinks being missing despite messaging on the hotel WhatsApp to let them know and it still never being delivered). In general, we got the impression that possibly there were fewer staff members than this time 2 years ago so maybe staff are spread more thinly. Was told by a server in a restaurant that it's possible to pre-order food from one restaurant to be delivered to another restaurant we were booked into the following evening but then staff on the hotel WhatsApp saying that's not possible. We also found it strange when on more than one occasion we requested to move the time of our dinner reservation to an earlier time (e.g. 1 hr earlier) and being told it wasn't possible. However, we went to the restaurant earlier to ask if we could be seated earlier and being kindly accommodated (being seated at 7.45pm vs the 8.30pm reservation time). At the time when we arrived at 7.45pm, there seemed to be several available tables which made it seem strange that we were told it wasn't possible to move the reservation to an earlier time via the hotel WhatsApp. Staff did however very kindly enable us to have dinner in The Garden restaurant when we were previously told it wasn't available on one particular evening.

We came to Ikos Olivia for our honeymoon, and whilst some elements were great, I would not recommend it for couples - it is purely a family resort, with the vast majority of guests being families with young children.
The service was amazing, the rooms were lovely and the facilities are plentiful - we loved playing table tennis, swimming, darts, going to the gym. All the staff were lovely and they genuinely want you to have an amazing holiday.
We really struggled to get over just how many children there were at the resort though - the website made it seem like it would be a tranquil, peaceful escape, perfect for a honeymoon. This was not the case - at meal times, young children are crying, screaming and running around your table. If you're all dressed up on your honeymoon and looking for a romantic escape, this can really ruin the ambience!
During the day it wasn't so much of an issue, although it would be good to have more adult only areas as these were almost always completely full. There are adult only areas in the restaurant but they closely neighbour the children's tables, which defeats the point slightly.
I know that part of this is down to the parents, but I do think that Ikos needs to be more transparent in their marketing to show the kind of experience that couples can expect at Ikos Olivia. We felt really cheated of our money and honeymoon because of this false advertising.
We did speak with Niki, from the guest relations team, who was sympathetic and gave us a 9% discount, and we're grateful to her for her help. I just really want to ensure that no one else makes the same mistake as us! Apparently some of the other ikos resorts, such as Dassia, are more suited to couples - Olivia apparently gets the most children as it is small and flat. This information should really be available online so that guests can make the best decision before booking.
Many other couples who we spoke to had similar complaints sadly, and had also spent thousands on their holiday. We're gutted that we won't be able to do our honeymoon again, and that all the money we saved to go to Ikos wasn't with it, but hoping that other couples can learn from our experience.

We’ve stayed at all of the Ikos properties, but our recent trip to Ikos Olivia has truly set a new benchmark — it offered the best service levels and food we’ve experienced so far.
Our stay from start to finish it was exceptional. Leon and his team at the deluxe pool were outstanding; they checked in with us every day, always taking time for a friendly chat and to see if there was anything at all they could do to enhance our experience. Their commitment to high standards was second to none - one day Leon even took my glass of champagne back to the bar simply because he felt the glass wasn’t chilled enough. That kind of attention to detail really stood out.
The daily gin trolley at 4:30pm became a fun little highlight for us, such a lovely touch that we looked forward to each afternoon.
Our children absolutely adored the kids club and couldn’t wait to go each day. They even begged to stay late for the special evening events until 10pm, a testament to how wonderful and engaging the team there is.
A special mention also to Niki, the guest relations manager, who took incredible care of us throughout our stay. She always went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, not just for us, but for all guests.
Overall, Ikos Olivia delivered an unforgettable holiday with service that genuinely exceeded all our expectations. We can’t wait to return!

We had an amazing stay! The service was absolutely perfect, with excellent restaurants and a fantastic breakfast. The beach service was impeccable as well. We came as a couple and really enjoyed it – there are quite a lot of children around, but the many “adults only” areas made it just perfect for us. Highly recommend! :-)
