From the moment we arrived, until we checked out, we had a memorable experience. The staff was very quick to respond when I notified them of our flight delay. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and we were welcomed with a chilled bottle of champagne in our room. Every staff member we encountered welcomed us, greeted us, ensured anything we may need was accomplished. The breakfast was by far the best I’ve experienced in my international travels. Everything was clean throughout the resort. All staff were helpful and eager to assure we accommodated. We will definitely be going back and I highly recommend this to everyone.

We stayed at the Iberostar in the Algarve and had a great experience overall. Our room was on the top floor with an amazing ocean view. The location is beautiful and it’s just a short walk down to the beach, which was peaceful and not crowded at all. It felt very romantic. The breakfast buffet was also really good with a big selection and plenty of options.
A few downsides were that the carpet on the sixth floor felt old and worn, which didn’t really match the five-star feel of the hotel. The AC didn’t seem to work properly in the mornings and was blowing warm air, so we had to open the balcony door for some breeze. The room phone also didn’t work, and even though I mentioned it to the front desk, no one ever came to fix it.
Overall, it’s a beautiful hotel in a perfect location and definitely worth staying at. The service could be a little more attentive, and the rooms could use some updates to match the quality of everything else.

The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. Everyone we met was so kind, attentive, and genuinely happy to make our experience special.
We also treated ourselves to massages in the spa area, and we enjoyed every second of it, it was truly relaxing.
The pool area was stunning, the food was incredible, and the overall atmosphere was just perfect. It felt a little more than just a holiday, they made it feel like home.
We’ll never forget our holiday here,and we can’t wait to come back!

Staff are very attentive and friendly.Many from different countries and all speak English and multiple other languages. Special mention to Claudia from the main lobby bar, Joshua, Hassan, Paulo, Tatianna, the “maître d” at buffet(never got his name)and also the manager of the snack bar (nameless as well) who all went out of their way to greet, meet and provide us with the best service we’ve experienced in a long time. Let’s also mention Luis at the front desk.

We stayed at the Iberostar near Lagos for a week in late October.
The hotel and the stay were fantastic. It is located somewhat outside of Lagos and hence in a very quiet area. A very large and beautiful beach is across a small street and 3 to 5 mins of walking distance. Getting to Lagos is around 10 mins by car and bus goes there once an hour. Overall, the location is pretty great, if you want it a more calm.
The staff is fantastic, very attentive and friendly. A big thanks to Leonor and the Spa team, that is doing a great job with a massage offering. There is private area with a Jacuzzi, sauna, and steam bath to book for one hour.
We had the half board and. The food, both breakfast and dinner, is great and felt of really high quality with a new selection of meat and fish every day.
We really liked the rooms and they are well equipped. We were on the same floor as the reception and bar and hence could here the noise from the evening program. But it ended reasonably early, so no issue.
Overally, we can really recommend the hotel.
