This place was beyond my expectations, the hotel, staff, facilities and food were all amazing.
The hotel offered so much, it was very child friendly and had bits for adults too!
Big thanks to Majid who always greeted my kids with their names and the Kids Play room staff who were amazing too.
If I visit again, I will definitely be staying at this hotel!

The Taghazout Hyatt Place Hotel offers a number of positive aspects that make the stay pleasant. The gardens are beautifully designed and invite you to linger. The pool is clean and we liked the international clientele. The housekeeping team is extremely friendly and has excellent English skills, which makes communication easier. The restaurant management and service are particularly noteworthy, as they are very dedicated. The kitchen is excellent, and the buffet is extremely appetizing and beautifully presented. The Wi-Fi is also excellent, with a dedicated access point in each room and even outside. I always had a bandwidth of 6-10 Mbps, which was more than sufficient.
Unfortunately, there are also some negative points that tarnish the overall impression. The rooms are clean but worn out. The pull-out bed, which we had booked for our child, was not made up, so the bellboy had to make the bed at 1:00 AM. Coordination with the reception via email was a disaster. We tried multiple times to get in touch, both in French and English, to book excursions, transfers, and possibly a room upgrade in advance. To this day, we have not received a response. At check-in, the desired arrangements were, of course, no longer feasible.
The terraces around the pool are paved with natural stone slabs that are cracked everywhere, so you should not walk barefoot. The implementation of internal regulations is arbitrary: sometimes you have to give your room number at the pool to get a towel, sometimes not. It is also inconsistent whether you need to give your room number to the gatekeeper when driving in. The security personnel at the transition to the golf course and near the lounges listen to loud radio or mobile phones all day. Additionally, there are many inconsiderate guests who talk loudly on their phones and pacify their children with tablets during meals.
The service at the pool bar struggles to keep the tables clean throughout the day. The staff does not have order devices, causing them to walk long distances frequently. Here, ordering via an app would make sense. The children's program is only advertised and explained in one of the elevators. Arrangements for the golf course cannot be organized through the reception; you have to go to the pro shop. Breakfast was okay, but 100% the same for all 11 days. Morocco has a rich coffee culture, but the bar only has a Nespresso machine, and the buffet has terrible Nescafe machines. The cappuccino tastes like cocoa. The menus for room service and the pool bar, which are accessible via QR code, do not always work.
Another point is that the chefs apparently do not have the opportunity to procure more varied ingredients. They cannot really showcase their skills, which is a shame because you can tell they are trying to create something delicious with the same ingredients.
We had no idea about the different hotel categories within the Hyatt group. After understanding that "Place" is essentially the simplest category, we made peace with our stay. However, I would not book it again.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms lovely, big amazing pool and easy to get one of the nice big beds you see on the pictures. Only downside was food options were limited and quite pricey for morocco and had to get a shuttle to the other hotel for the private beach. The shuttle only went once an hour and the other hotel didn't pick up the phone if you wanted to book say padel (which was £40, not free as we thought!)

The place is really beautiful and peaceful, with great service and a lovely atmosphere. But honestly, it feels a bit too quiet — it needs some energy. Adding activities or entertainment would make the stay much more enjoyable and less monotonous. There’s a lot of potential here!
