Stayed at PortoBay Falésia for 3 days and had great experience. My room was spacious, featuring a balcony with an incredible sea view.
I also appreciated the quality Rituals amenities, which added a nice touch of luxury.
The hotel has excellent direct access to the beach, making it easy to enjoy the stunning coastline.
Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of options to suit different tastes. There’s also an indoor pool and a well-equipped gym for those who want to stay active.
The outdoor pool area and gardens are beautifully maintained, with plenty of sun loungers.
I also had a great experience at the Italian restaurant on-site — delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere and views.
Overall, a great stay in a beautiful and peaceful location. Highly recommended!

This hotel is located in a great location with fantastic views over the coastline. Reception and general areas are well presented. Bedroom was slightly dated and in need of some attention, but very functional with safe and toiletries provided. Rooms either face the coast or inland directly over parking, and were serviced every day. Buffet breakfast was plentiful but felt a bit samey after 7 days, we had the Buffet dinner one evening but I can't say that it was value for money @ €33pp and I'm glad we ventured out in the evenings for food instead. Il Bascilico bar restaurant was good for getting drinks or a snack during the day. Some staff were very friendly, some others not so much. There were plenty of sunbeds around for guests even despite other guests reserving beds before 8am. What is really lovely about this place is there are a couple of seating areas that max the views if you want to get away from the pool. Would recommend a stay for the location.

We stayed at this hotel in Sept 2025. The rooms we can't fault, they're immaculate and cleaned every day to a great standard.
The restaurant is by far the best thing about this place, every day morning and evening there was a large selection of different foods laid on, all freshly cooked and well presented. Well done to the chefs and the watiing team 👏👏👏

Only a few small dissapointments and we know is likely stated on the booking, is that we couldn't go to our apartment until 4pm. Arriving at midday we hoped to get to our room, nap and settle before utlaising out 4 days there but we had to stay close so we could get out apartment (we were told we had to wait until it was cleaned before being given then keys....bang on 4pm it was available 😂 ! pretty sure we could have been put somewhere before 4pm. Also sorry there is a load of construction out back for a new building....so other people booking are aware ! Oh and 220+ steps is what it takes to get down/up to/from the beach so you're also aware.
To finish on a good note, the pool staff need commended for their work, they work hard every day to keep it clean and in tip top condition for residents 👏👏👏 All in all a lovely hotel !
Update @ 1546UTC 20th Sept 2025 - Deborah, 2pm checkin to the rooms is incorrect. We, along with about 3 or 4 other couples, were waiting in the Hotel seating area for hours before we were given our rooms ! Absolutely no way were we given the chance of 2pm at all....otherwise we wouldnt have sat sweating in the seating area for 4 hours ! Bit dissapointed you've said this 1) After a good review and 2) When we, and others, know 2pm is not correct....and if 2pm IS correct....we'll be raising a complaint !

Lots to like. No problems getting a sunbed around the lovely clean big pool. Beach was down the 100-odd steps if you wanted to go down there Hotel was clean; air con was great; friendly staff. Breakfast choice was excellent, and lots of space in the restaurant. Music at night was varied and not too loud. Near enough (10 mins walk) to the shops and restaurants, but far enough away for there to be no noise or hassle. Lots of facilties; gym, tennis, pool, bars etc. No issues whatsoever. Would stay there again.

First impressions are everything which this hotel fell short on. Booked a suite with sea view 8 months in advance for 5 nights in August for family vacation to be given room on first floor next to elevator. Apparently all suites are next to the elevator. We would have booked differently if we had known that. We asked for a different room but was met with questions about how many times we have stayed previously. Being our first time it was instantly clear they weren't interested and reserve this room for newcomers. Once in the room the AC doesn't work and they can't figure it out so now we have fans instead, in August! It is hot and fans are loud. Foot traffic from elevator is noisy. Smoke alarms flash very bright every few minutes which in a dark room is like a strobe light. Nobody can sleep and we instantly regret booking this hotel. Public areas like reception and halls need updating. Breakfast and dinner buffet is just okay. Nothing special. Ramp to paid parking is a nightmare which they don't mention and apparently is where staff takes their smoke breaks which is a bit awkward. They also make you decide how many days you will be using the parking on the spot. We only ended up using it 3 of the 5 nights. Location to one of the best beaches with views of cliffs is excellent.
