Very warm welcome on arrival. Our room was lovely & bright & had everything we needed. We had a nice big balcony but did notice that a few rooms near us did not have balconies & I would have been gutted if we'd been allocated one of those. There were shops & restaurants only a few minutes walk away as was the beach. All staff (reception, cleaners & restaurant) were friendly & hardworking & very helpful. Pool was a lovely temperature & although quite small never got very busy. As with everywhere there were the usual sun bed reservers first thing, but we always managed to get a sunbed when we used the pool later on in the afternoon on several days. We weren't interested in the entertainment so can't comment on that. There was an attractive & quiet terrace near us with sunbeds & couches etc. which we would have used more often but unfortunately it was closed for most of our stay for the balcony rails to be painted. This took a ridiculous amount of time & was still not finished at the end of our 10 day stay. Food........ breakfast & lunch were very good. Evening meal ok but could have done with a bit more choice some nights. I visited the spa once for a massage which I thoroughly enjoyed & can recommend. We chose this hotel because it was adults only & it made for a very peaceful & relaxing holiday.

Pros - staff are great. Spa area was interesting in as much as the jacuzzi was very cold, the shower didn't have a head on it. It smells strange eg slightly drain smell. Not exactly conducive to relaxing, at least it was included with the holiday and I didn't spend actual money on it. There is a squash court in the spa, which looked good although I didn't make use of this. Unable to walk away with more than two drinks from the bar which although I understand why this may be the case is highly annoying when walking to and fro with drinks for friends. Pool area is good. Comfortable sun loungers , towels had to be rented and paid for when you arrive, feels cheap. Have to buy a plastic cup to take onto the pool area , good idea to avoid glass breakage and injury on the pool side. Food is reasonable, overall enjoyed the food. Fruit was lovely, good selection and well ripened. Lack of milk next to the coffee machine, inability to help yourself to beer when coming in from the pool side meant there were queues at the bar area The on tap wines in the restaurant area were absolutely undrinkable and vile, I wish they wouldn't waste the hotels money in buying this in. Wine has to be taken down to dinner from the bar area. Staff seemed polite and helpful when asked. The standard of English is generally limited. Onsite entertainment improved over the time we were there. Room was excellent, clean and tidy, cleaning daily was helpful. Overall a great place to stay to explore the island. Plenty of trips out, local car rental was easily accessible if needed. Buses run regularly and are within a two minute walk. Recommended

Great location. Supermarket and beach just a 3 minute walk down the hill. Rooms relatively nice and clean. Food choices varied and most of the time you will find something you like. Also the egg bar was well managed and eggs properly cooked. Ladies in the spa were very nice and massage fantastic. All inclusive drinks very weak. Not worth the money for sure. Half board is more ththannough here. Spa area very outdated; paint falling off walls; jacuzzi smelled bad.

Lovely little hotel very clean and well maintained. Food always hot and well presented limit choice but you must remember this is only a small hotel and you can't expect a vast amount of choice . There is a hot plate area in the restaurant where fresh meat is cooked on request most nights meat on offer is pork which unfortunately I don't eat so I would go to the prepared food area and some nights the meat on offer in this area was also pork on the same night, so would recommend a small change in menu and offer a different precooked meat option in prepared area . All staff are very friendly and hard working. Evening entertainment was a let down was looking forward to not having to sit through kids entertainment hour as this it an adult only hotel, early evening entertainment was the compare teaching salsa dancing which is fine for early evening entertainment . A lovely young lady sings every Tuesday she was very entertaining but unfortunately for the rest of the week you have to make your own entertainment with karaoke which is great if you have a good group of people in that will get up and sing but unfortunately this didn't happen every night and if no one sings the compare puts the radio on , the compare should be able to entertain guests , on our last night we thought he had gone home early because the radio was left on and he was nowhere to be seen until 11 o'clock he appeared and said goodnight this is not acceptable evening entertainment. I would recommend giving the girl who entertains on a Tuesday a full-time job.

Very nice little hotel with friendly atmosphere. Staff were great; very friendly and hardworking. Rooms were fairly nice and cleaned regularly. Location was superb; Playa de Los Pocillos has a great beach and shops, including a good tour organiser which took us to Timanfaya on one of the days (Low Cost Tours Europe if you're interested). Cheap local buses were also quite good for going to Puerto del Carmen, Costa Teguise, and Arrecife. Entertainment was decent; the live music on the Tuesday night was particularly good. Wasn't overly fussed about the karaoke but some will enjoy it. Heated pool outside was much appreciated in December and we swam in it daily. Food was decent too; usually an alright selection, sometimes felt a bit samey but there was enough choice available for my partner and I. Found the cooked breakfast rather salty so generally didn't bother with it but plenty of other things on offer so that's just being picky really. Decent variety of drinks at bar and didn't have to pay extra for anything on all inclusive. All in all, very happy with the place considering the price we paid (visited in December so it was off-peak), and we'd definitely tell other holidaymakers to consider it for a cheap and relaxed winter sun break.
