I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Perla Marina! From the second I walked on the property, the receptionist (Gloria) was incredibly kind and helpful!
I was nervous to book a hotel that wasn’t in the city center but in hindsight I am so glad I did!!!! The hotel was so quiet, had its own beach apart from the craziness of the downtown area, and was an easy / quick walk to the city’s center.
Parking was a breeze (I traveled in May when the town wasn’t too busy)… the hotel has a parking garage and there were open street parking as well.
The room had all I needed and it also had a kettle (in case you want to bring your own coffee / tea).
I will definitely stay here again!

Great location, hotel is spotless but we were not told about roof top pool being renovated during stay , had drilling and banging early in the morning and there weren’t enough sun loungers . Reception didn’t even ask if we enjoyed our stay as everyone was complaining about the pool issue and noise , not acceptable! Manager was “on holidays “ when complaining

Great location, staff were nice but the hotel building across the road - our ac was on full blast of cold but did little to nothing.. We had two staff members come up and check. After the first we were told it would be perfect in 2 hrs (it was not). Second time no air was pumping out at all, staff member noticed that the sensors on doors were loose so had to squeeze together as won't work of it thinks the doors are open. Only offered room swap on second last day which was pointless due to youngest asleep and going in a day. Was cooler leaving both doors open, the hallway was colder than our room. Paid extra from apartments to have access to pool. Won't be doing it again..

We stayed in Perla Merina for 2 nights. The location was excellent - just by the beach and a 10-minute walk to Balcon De Europa. The neighborhood sees moderate footfall, so you can take a nice stroll in the evening and enjoy the silence. If you want to be around a more happening crowd, you can talk to Balcon De Europa and get access to a good bazaar to shop and multiple eateries.
The hotel is very good. The rooms were right-sized, have decent air conditioning and had a balcony that opens to a beautiful view of the sea. The housekeeping was quick and ensures your room stays tidy throughout your stay. Toileteries like toothpaste and toothbrush were missing, but you can buy them at the supermarket which is a 5-minute walk from the property.
The check-in process was quick and the front desk was helpful. They have a pool that opens to the beach, a bar area overseeing the beach that serves drinks and lunch.
They have parking chargeable at €15/night. You also have access to public parking, subject to availability. There is also a parking lot nearby (~5 minute walk) that charges €1/day.

Great hotel only issue was the room which overlooked a courtyard and small. Restaurant staff extremely helpfull. Bar and pool staff very quick with service. Currently only one pool area open so loungers and snapped up and que starts at 9.50 am for 10.00 am opening. Room service ever day with Fresh towels and cleaning. Loads of seating areas on basement floor and 2nd floor games room with a library. 2 Drinks €10.00. beach literally at hotel with promenade Walk and less than 5 minutes walk to main street. Nerja is not a stag and hens Party town. Above average price. I'll be back to hotel Perla Marina. Thanks for the stay
